einkrad Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) Good time of day for everybody. I'm using freenom domain and trying to add it to my heliohost account. The problem is that I'm getting the same error with different XID.Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.I've searched customer threads for freenom keyword and found some topics, but everywhere is advice to wait for 24 hours.I've changed my domain nameserver to ns1 and ns2 of heliohost more than 24 hours ago.I've found here https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/35946-freenom-domain-nameservers the online dns checker tool, but it's often show different data - sometimes it's 1/26 resolved, sometimes 3/26, 8/26, 2/26 and so on with different resolvers.I've checked few online whois services with domain and all of them see that domain uses ns1 and ns2 of heliohost. My domain is: rj-l.tkAnd DNS-checker link: https://dnschecker.org/#NS/rj-l.tk/ns1.heliohost.org What I have to do? Just more time to wait or what? Edited December 17, 2019 by einkrad
wolstech Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 There's a known problem with adding external domains at the moment. You're one of numerous people wrongly seeing this message over the past few days. I'll be passing this onto Krydos so he can figure out what's causing it.
vanisk Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 btw, please mention the domain name you tried adding (either here in post or send a direct message to root admin) so that root admin figure out the problem. Edit: ty wolstech, noted.
wolstech Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Please post it here specifically. Krydos is the one who needs to see it, and he does not read his PMs.
cgrillo Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) I have the same problem to add freenom domains as from other providers, but if I place the domain as the main one if it takes it without problems Edited December 16, 2019 by wolstech Don't shout
bucanero Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Same problem for me, domain from Freenom.com my domain: pkgi.tk I have waited to propagate but I can't get it to work at all.

Please don't hijack other people's threads. Refer https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/38058-krydos-domain-issue/.I'm sorry for this too. I've searched by "freenom" keyword only, so didn't found this thread. Do I need to change something in my thread? Edited December 17, 2019 by einkrad
Flaze Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Sorry about that. I was replying to bucanero but it seems that he was actually quoting cgrillo (thanks, wolstech!). @bucanero: You can do that by using this script - http://www.heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/domain
