wolstech
@Krydos: Johnny's Apache has been down for almost a day and will not restart. Any idea what happened? The rest of the server seems to be working though (cPanel, mail, and FTP are up...).

Sn1F3rt
@Krydos: What? A DDoS attack. On the HelioServer Johnny. You're kidding me! If I amnt wrong, this had happened before here in HelioHost. Most probably it's in the news forum. Last month I was digging deep into that and there I saw an announcement of a DDoS attack by Ashoat. Luigi123
No it’s not mean you should change your password. It’s something else.
wolstech
Nope. This is actually a fairly common occurrence here, usually a few times a year at least. More often than not, it’s retaliation for us banning abuse of some form (phishing or botnet typically).

Sn1F3rt
Seems everything's alright now. Just check and confirm please.
wolstech
The DoS attack has sort of subsided. I'm still seeing tons of IPs getting blocked in the firewall, but it's not completely overwhelming the server now at least...
