If you're using code that still uses short tags, the code is outdated and should be replaced. I'd suggest finding another theme (or even better, finding software that's not WordPress, it's the number one cause of suspension here because it causes lots of load and is easily hacked).

Krydos Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 If you decide to run wordpress I recommend keeping it updated to the latest version to help prevent getting hacked. Also make sure all of your themes and plugins are clean of malware. This can usually be accomplished by avoiding the free sites and downloading only from wordpress official site, or using a paid theme or plugin. Most free themes and plugins are simply backdoors that as soon as you install them it contacts the hacker and they come and easily turn your account into a phishing site and start sending thousands of spam emails as well. Also, wordpress causes a ridiculous amount of load even if you only get a few hundred MB of traffic per day so keep an eye on https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/frontend/paper_lantern/load/index.live.php If you reach 100 on memory or cpu you will likely be suspended. I've seen non wordpress sites transfer 100 GB of traffic in a week and not get suspended, but at the same time I've seen a wordpress site transfer 100 MB of traffic and get suspended for high load.
