wolstech Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 You can't have a two free subdomains (at least without a root admin doing it for you). However, you can get a free domain from something like freenom, set its name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org, and add it as an Addon Domain in cPanel. That will make it show its own, separate website.

wolstech Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 1. Make a new topic about that since Krydos has to do that. I'm not sure whether this is something that will be approved. I do know that it's been done before though. 2. Yes you can. https://freenom.com/ 3. When you register the domain, it will ask about the DNS settings. Select "Custom DNS" or "Use my own DNS" and enter the nameservers in the fields. You can leave the IP address fields blank if it asks for them. If you don't do it during domain registration, you can do it on freenom's website afterwards.

wolstech Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 That website works fine for me. WordPress is famous for being really slow and insecure though. Try removing your WordPress extensions, or better yet. using something that's not WordPress.

wolstech Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 See these instructions to set your nameservers on godaddy's website: https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-godaddy-12317 Our nameservers are ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org... Once you've done that, go into cpanel, select Aliases, and add the domain to the list. This will make the domain show the same content as dropprob.heliohost.org. If you want different content, put it under Addon domains instead of Aliases.

Krydos Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 It can take up to 24 hours for the autossl to install itself. Let us know if it still isn't working after 24 hours.
