[Solved] Php Update Gives Me Sql Error 44

I tried updating my php version to the latest builds but it keeps on giving me this error:

 

 

How do I update my php version without affecting my website?

PHP versions are not completely compatible with each other, and software is usually only designed for specific versions. PHP is one of those things where newer is not always better.

 

Use a version specified as compatible by the software documentation. Also, does the documentation say what sql extension is required?

Ok sir, thanks for the info, I'll try asking the mybb community about the software compatibility to the latest php builds and the required sql extensions.

I tried installing a new mybb using softaculous and with php 7.2, then I got this error:

 

The following errors were found :

• Required PHP extension not found : gd

Is there a way for me to install this extension?

The php extension gd has been installed on Tommy's php version 7.2.
