I face this issue only with FileZilla. In mobile it opens correctly
wolstech Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 The timeout for SFTP suggests your network is blocking port 1373 outbound. The Explicit FTPS setting is known to be an issue for some users, which is why we recommend SFTP to start with. Since neither work for you, try changing the Protocol to FTP, and Encryption to "Only use Plain FTP (insecure)" and see if that works. You can change these in the Site Manager in FileZilla. You might also try using a different FTP client.
HelioHost Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 Using Plain ftp did resolve my issue. Is there any problem of getting me hacked over this option?
wolstech Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 It's not the best thing in the world and I certainly wouldn't recommend using it on public networks (e.g. free wifi) since your password and content travel in the clear and could be sniffed by others using the network. I used it for years (from home) back when we had the Stevie server and never had an issue.
