I've been trying to install joomla manually with PostgreSQL, but neither connect to the DB, neither can login with phpPgAdmin, neither can delete the databases nor users. I'm using the "Johnny" server but still cannot advance. Would you mind to help me to solve it please?

Thank you.

The server is working as I can connect from my PC using a desktop program.

PhpPgAdmin might be broken though. Johnny is bogged down again so I cannot test it right now.

So, while this kind of issues are solved, can i move my account to another server where i can do what i mentioned before? (installing joomla on postgresql)

You could try moving to Stevie, but I don't know how well his postgres works (it is newer if I remember right).

I was able to create a database and user in cPanel and view/edit it in PhpPgAdmin though, so it appears to be working...

Wolstech, would you mind to try to delete users and databases using my account? maybe you can locate the issue by this way. Please mail me to suescuela.online@gmail.com to send you my user and password so you can do it and see why is this happening. besides, when i try to login using the phPgAdmin i get this result from Cpanel before loading the UI:

Please be patient, you will be redirected in a moment.... PostgreSQL query failed: GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES on DATABASE "olschool_joomla" TO "olschool_joomla";: DBD::PgPP::db do failed: ERROR database "olschool_joomla" does not exist

But even when i try to create either the user or the database through the wizard, it doesn't allow me to do it.

So what do you think?
