wolstech Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I'm not sure what to do with the reason listed...I'll escalate it.
wolstech Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Krydos Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 What were you doing on your account when it was suspended?
chrstn Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 I'm not sure how it was suspended. I was probably editing some php and MySQL stuff - apparently before I requested JSP capabilities. Now when I try to rest the password (getting the confimation code emailed), it just eats the code and acts like nothing was processed. (ie at http://johnny.helioh...:2082/resetpass)
wolstech Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 You can't reset a password on a suspended account, which is why it's doing that. Krydos needs to respond with a decision on your account yet.
chrstn Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Thanks for the explaination regarding the reset password failure. Is there an update as to what might help with the decision?
Krydos Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I'm not sure how it was suspended.Your account was running about 50 perl scripts each of which was trying to use about 5% of the server memory, and your account caused such high load that the entire Johnny server and the other 11,000 accounts on that server experienced 6 hours of downtime. I'm trying to determine whether you did this on purpose. What were you doing on your account when it was suspended?
chrstn Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 Good evening, I am surprised to hear about the perl scripts. From my perspective, I was uploading comma separated files to display and query - to be diligent at work. Below, there is a screen shot of some of the same type of php/html and mysql running on other servers. <img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/y8Lf4oCQ6fNWUU9CdRLH9t_s-ozB-999qeiNkscVn9zq72T89URAYw_LM7Mw9ZSxpP9FcA=w1596-h470">
