sseacord Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I have been trying to publish updates to my website using Frontpage extensions. Everything used to work in the past, but for about the last week I have been getting an error. I thought there might be a Johnny issue, but it seems too long. I have tried to re-install Frontpage extensions too. When I tried to reinstall, or uninstall frontpage extensions I got a "No Server found" message Error:Server Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file "httpd.conf". Please check the file permissions. I am trying to publish to: http://sseacord.heliohost.org Please help. Thanks. sseacord
wolstech Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I'm surprised to hear it worked at all. Others have had issues with Johnny's FP extensions that as far as I know were not resolved. The fact that we still offer them is kind of amazing, but I guess people still use them. For what it's worth, Frontpage was obsolete when Office 2007 came out, and MS dropped all support for its final version of Frontpage back in 2011. I'd recommend finding different software at this point. Krydos probably needs to look at it based on the error.
wolstech Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Krydos Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 It looks like this one sort of fell through the cracks. Sorry for the long delay in getting a response. I was able to install frontpage extensions on my Johnny account successfully without any errors. Perhaps it was a temporary error? Let us know if you're still having any issues.
