mobirock Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Username: mobirockServer: stevieDomain: socialmediarock.com My website just unsuspended 2 days ago, but today i get suspended again.Need your advice, thanks in advance.
Tjoene Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. Note: this is your second suspension. If you don't fix the problem, the next suspension will be final. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache. 1
mobirock Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Thanks Tjoene for your quick responseDoes deactivating some plugins will reduce the server load?or is there anything to do with the incoming traffic to my website? Sorry for asking some questions, you are the experti am simply a user. and i am trying not to get the final suspension.
Krydos Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Does deactivating some plugins will reduce the server load?Maybe. We host literally thousands of wordpress sites on our servers, and yours is the only one causing such ridiculous high load. Usually if a wordpress site is causing high load disabling wp-cron can help a lot if you haven't already done so.or is there anything to do with the incoming traffic to my website?Probably not. I don't know how many visitors your specific site gets, but the overall traffic to the entire server hasn't increased in the two weeks or so that your account has existed. 1
mobirock Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the hints Krydos, i really appreciate your advice,but I don't have wp-cron running, and i never use that plugin.this is from my dashboard WP Overview (lite):Mem: WP 32M (def) Usage 30% 38.25M of PHP Limit 128M I have Statpress Visitor running, but i have reduced it to the minimum, and i have emptied the Statpress databases on Phpmyadmin last night,can this be the problem?I just disabled Statpress I just saw this on CPanel Server Load 5.84 (4 cpus) Disk /dev/sda1 (/) 98 % but i don't understand those means. Does Framing video from Youtube allowed?i got 1 post with youtube video on it. PS:I am very satisfied with Heliohost service, i've never found free hosting with Full features of CPanel before.Please help me to reduce the server load, thank you very much. Krydos Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Even though your account was suspended for the first quarter of the day, you still have the highest load of all the 12,000 accounts located on your server. You better figure this out quickly or you're going to need to look for a new host. The way high load suspensions work is you can cause as much load as you want until it starts to negatively affect the other accounts. So if the high load of your account slows down the server you get suspended again to keep the other 11,999 (or whatever) accounts working at a reasonable level. 1
mobirock Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 I am really sorry to hear that,yes i am still working on it, but suddenly i got this Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error
Shinryuu Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 That comes from hitting the process limit, I'm thinking one of your wp plugins might be going nuts. Try killing them all and adding one a day to see if it noticeably impacts your page loads. Linking a single video shouldn't be causing load like that, and barebones wp hardly affects the server. 1
mobirock Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 It's been 2 days and my website is running well,i would like to know whether my website still causing the high load or not. Thank you
Krydos Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Well, your account is causing the most load on your server so far today, so no I don't think you have it fixed yet.
mobirock Posted January 25, 2013 Author Posted January 25, 2013 But i have tried to fix it, i hopefully lower load as per this post :unsure:/&--#62;
