Guest xaav
Another problem: /var only had 500mb of free space on it, so when I tried to migrate the DB, it used it all up.
Ashoat
Currently clearing away things from /var.
vol7ron
I'm not sure where 8.1 is being hosted, but you might want to try and run a VACUUM FULL on it to reduce it's size. It might temporarily lock the database, but it shouldn't break anything.
Guest xaav
Right now, 8.1 database is being moved to 9.0 database.
Guest xaav
Okay, according to my test script, things appear to be working, but I need to change some settings in WHM for cPanel to work.

Guest xaav
The reason is jje ran /restartsrv_postgres, which disabled postgresql 9.0 and started postgresql 8. Basically, all I need to do is change some settings in WHM, but it's up to djbob now since I don't have permission to use WHM.

Guest xaav
Great news! Postgresql 9.0 is successfully running and installed on stevie! @djbob feel free to uninstall 8.3 if you have the time.

Guest xaav
I was able to get it working with cPanel. Not sure about phppgadmin.
vol7ron
I was able to get it working with cPanel. Not sure about phppgadmin. Nice. I guess that's all that's left to do, the config auth files may need adjusted and then just port everything from the 8.1 and we should be good. Guest xaav
phppgadmin doesn't seem to be working. Not sure why, because I was able to install drupal with PostgreSQL with no problems. It's probably just a bug in phppgadmin or something.
Ashoat
We likely have an old install of PHPPgAdmin. However, it'll be really difficult to install a new version, as it will likely be overriden at each cPanel update. Probably easier for each user to install a local copy of the software for their own administration
