Hi. I'm bfpsw on Johnny. I deployed some jsp and java class files under my home directory (folder JAW under public_html folder). If I try to point my index.jsp page, I get a 404 error saying that "/bfpsw_JAW/index.jsp is not available". Where am I wrong? Thank you

Hi. I'm bfpsw on johnny. Until now I deploy my war file putting it in my home directory and asking you to make the deploy. Is there another way to do it? What if I put under my home directory the folder structure I have on my PC and deploy the files one by one (.jsp, .class etc.)? Thanks in advance

Hello, I have a problem with my java/jsp application. I created it in eclipse as it was described here http://wiki.helionet.org/Java_Servlet. I have tested it on Apache 7 and selected Java 1.6 for this project. It runs ok on my local machine. I deployed it on server (rec0.heliohost.org/xmascard) and it doesn't work as it should. The problem occurs everytime I try to get object from java in jsp site. I'm trying to do it like: <% Card card = (Card) session.getAttribute("card"); %> And when I try to use this object <%= card.getUsername()%>I allways get NullPointerException like this object is never loaded. As I said it works on my local tomcat 7 server so I doubt it is implementation problem. Mabye there are some version differences so I don't ask you to fix this. I would only like to know how should I pass objects (or eventually simple variables) from java code to jsp the way it works on your servers. I'd love to try it myself but long deploying times make it hard. I hope you can help me Regards, rec0

Hello: Please enable Java JSP/servlets on my account. Question do I need to request each WAR file to be enabled? Or is that automagically done with JSP/servlets being enabled? Thank-you, my best! William

Hello, all, I was wondering if the Java API for JSON Processing could be enabled on Tommy so that it could be used with JSP. I think all that would need to be done would be to have the jar files for the API and library placed in whatever classpath is being used by Tomcat. If you are interested in doing this, the jar files are located here: http://search.maven.org/remotecontent?filepath=javax/json/javax.json-api/1.0/javax.json-api-1.0.jarhttp://search.maven.org/remotecontent?filepath=org/glassfish/javax.json/1.0.4/javax.json-1.0.4.jarThank you for considering this. -Tim Meredith

How can i deploy .war file on my heliohost hosted domain? I don't know but have heard that many hosting companies provide support to java using the facility to deploy .war file. Is it possible on heliohost? Can i do so normally, with jsp permissions on my account activated? IF possible, please provide a Step-by-step procedure so that i can do so here. Help! Thanks.......
