  1. After the maintenance is complete, Stevie should be a lot more stable. Stevie will be down for approximately 24 hours
  2. I thought djbob already did this? Isn't it something like... #!/usr/bin/python3.2 ..? Although I don't know any Python myself and I have no idea if that is right. I think it's the same shebang line just with 3.2 on the end.
  3. Actually, djbob hasn't issued an fsck yet. He wanted to ask us whether we thought it was a good idea first. If the server is still running slowly, then please let us know and djbob will run the fsck on Stevie. This would mean 24 hours downtime for Stevie.
  4. Glad your problem got solved Please spare 2 minutes to take our survey: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=8947
  5. Thanks Geoff! This issue should now be resolved. If you are still seeing the queued page, then please clear your browser's cache
  6. We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties on Stevie and we apologise for any inconvenience. We are working to solve the issue quickly and efficiently. Please keep all discussion related to the matter in this thread. For updates please follow us on our Twitter @HelioHost. @admins - I haven't run the script yet since I'm not in the place at the mo
  7. Give it another 24 hours for your DNS to be removed from our DNS cluster, and try again. If it fails then I'll escalate this.
  8. @xnet - There is already an account created with your IP address in the database called akiza with the email. I presume that this is not your account, as there is an active HelioNet account associated with it. Sometimes it is just coincidental that your IP address is identical to somebody elses. If you like, I can create your account for you. Or, I can escalate this and djbob can add an exception for an IP address. Which method would you prefer? @DragonDesign - Looks like that there is already an account in our database which has your email address associated with it. The username of the account is 'biazzare' - is this your account? The domain is 'wasteland[...].co.cc'.* The account is active, and the last login was two weeks ago. *I cannot provide the full domain name for privacy reasons for the appropiate owner.
  9. Your account was queued for deletion. It takes around 48 hours for your account to delete. Okay - looks like it's been deleted now. Try again
  10. I agree with Byron. If it will improve Stevie's performance, then go for it.
  11. Try uploading the zipped package and extracting it via the cPanel File Manager. Alternatively use the Softaculous section of your cPanel to install WordPress using an automated installer. Moving to Customer Service forum, as this problem is related to the service HelioHost provide.
  12. Wha is the username of the account are you trying to delete? The script cl58tools posted only works for new accounts and does not provide ETAs for deleted accounts.

    Power disruption

Here is the HelioHost family tree: -Stevie (Hosts websites, doesn't run dangerous services, more stable than Johnny, more accounts hosted than Johnny) -Charlie (Name of the server which runs Cody and Johnny, multiple purposes) --Johnny (Hosts websites, runs dangerous services, less stable than Stevie, less accounts hosted than Stevie) --Cody (Hosts main HelioHost homepage and HelioNet forums, hosts scripts, hosts essential nameservers) Note that on Cody I mentioned that it hosts essential nameservers. That means Cody is in charge of everyone's domain. So if Cody and the nameservers go down, so does Stevie and Johnny.

Thanks That might be due to some temporary outages on Cody. We're not sure what is causing this and we have already done some work on Cody to improve his performance Check out the stats here: http://grd.net.pl/heliohost/monitor Also, when the name server section is red, the whole of HelioHost (Cody/Stevie/Johnny) goes down.
  15. Thanks! Let us know how you get on
  16. Nevermind - found it: golden[dot]heliohost[dot]org I thought this issue was fixed....? This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  17. As far as we are aware all systems are functioning correctly. Could you post the username you are trying to sign up with, and could you also ensure your email address is not @hotmail or @live.
  18. Within cPanel there is a 'Backup Wizard', where you will be guided through the backing up process. If I were you, I would backup your 'Home Directory' and not a 'Full Backup', as we have to manually restore a full backup which will take longer and is more complex. If you use MySQL, then login to phpMyAdmin via cPanel and choose 'Export'. When you wish to restore, choose 'Import'.
  19. Check the stats: http://grd.net.pl/heliohost/monitor
  20. This may have been a temporary issue with your sever. Look: htttp://grd.net.pl/heliohost/monitor Also, mind if you take that server load image out of your sig? It's kinda reserved for staff...
  21. I agree with cl58tools. Lots of people have over 200 posts, and it would be expensive for djbob.
