As long as I have know heliohost it doesn't happen this often. Obviously a free service won't be perfect, but it's probably just a coincidence. So don't expect it to always be this problematic.
I changed the FTP account for my friend from "forum" to "forums" (to correspond with the new forum) and noticed it does not connect. I tried my main account but it no longer works either. We both received similar messages from our clients:
[21:48:07] SmartFTP v2.5.1006.5
[21:48:08] Resolving host name "tehgang.com"
[21:48:08] Connecting to 64.235.55.112 Port: 21
[21:48:10] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
[21:48:10] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
[21:48:10] Client closed the connection.
[21:48:10] Active Help: http://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/index.php/58
My page redirects to the suspended page.
I know that I checked to make sure I still had time left in the account by adding a month twice just to check (I do not care for the wasted ones)
I can now log into my cpanel (thanks to djbob) But my main concern persists.
Haha. I loled.
As I was reading his post I was going to point out the faults but looks like you guys did a good job already.
Djbob, haha, 10yo lawyer...

My guess is he either represents a competitor or is just upset at you (took down his site, fined him, stole his girlfriend...)
In your Cpanel, there will be an icon for subdomains.
But you should also make a folder that reflects this.
If you want
subdomain.example.com
you must put all the files in example.com/subdomain/
That is probably the easiest way to do it.
Is that what you meant?
Also, your topic names could be a little more specific : )
Graham. I win.
And di you guys mean Googol/Googolplex?
What you put referred to a company and its main office.

I'm having the same problem with my forum. My administrators can't access the administration panel, but I can probably still use phpmyadmin so it's ok. Perhaps you should request custom ad placement? I will be doing so myself.
explode('/',$_SERVER
But who doesn't love a good ol' exploding server?
Click on "Store" at the top. Follow instructions there.
Basically you buy the hosting package, then you use the item. DO NOT CHOOSE RENEW. Choose renew every other time except the first time.
