I would say its more about your budget. I just got an awesome digital camcorder with a noname brand, and it works just as well as any other expensive camcorder I've ever used.

Does anyone know what I have to do to go about exporting threads from a specific forum to an outside page on my site? Like, a section on my index page that shows the starter post of each thread in a forum. Here's an example.

When you click the Store icon, at the bottom of the page it says theres 4 items under hosting and services. Theres only three. I know its not critical, I just thought I'd point it out.

DjBob didnt want people getting interest points without doing anything. It kind of defeats the purpose of people having to work for points and their hosting.

I used to do neopets, once upon a time, but like other things, I got bored. It get very repetitive, doing the same things over and over again all in the search for more neopoints. At one point I was in the top fifty, but, who cares?

IE is just fine, but it doesnt suit my needs. I hit up some shady serial and warez sites regurarly, and IE does a great job of channeling every peice of spyware it can find into my computer. FF seems to dissallow this infiltration, so I'm happy with it.

EDIT: Disregard the below message. Mods, feel free to delete this. It just started working again for no reason. I know I've been quite a complain-o-matic recently, but this is just too weird. On my site, if I try to get to it via an index link, it tells me it couldnt find my site, but if I type in my forums address, just a directory up, theres no problem. Same with my Cpanel. No one else seems to be having this problem, I tried AG's and GM268's, and theres no problem there. Edit: I know its there, I can connect with my ftp program... *Is gunna be really pissed if its something he f-ed up*

Yeah, I shrunk down the logo at the top of the forums to button size. Its kinda distorted, but if I ever put psp back on my computer (probobly with the new one) I'll fix that. They arent all that expensive. maybe a grand and a half or so, but theyre a pain in the [bleeped!] to run. Also you need to get top notch antivirus, anti spyware, anti everything programs, which all in all might cost about a hundred or two, plus membership fees depending on the programs. Some (like norton and mcafee) you need to pay for updates. You need a good solid internet connection, dsl or cable most likely. I was working on one for myself before I found HH, and I put in a good week or two getting it setup and running right with sql. Also, you have to check with your ISP, cuz I know mine, adelphia, had a [bleeped!] fit about me running a server, so I shitcanned it and now I'm here.

A server would be pretty cool, but I think the forums allready cover the multiple "channel" idea. We'd only need one channel for the ability to chat in real time.
