  1. Well, sometimes users get carried away with some ridiculous queries that take tonnes of time to execute, so a case of abuse may have been the issue. Our servers are set up to let you guys do what you want while there are resources to go around, but to start suspending accounts when they cause too many problems. It's a fully automated system and seems like this was the case since it resolved itself within a few minutes. I don't have access to any logs so don't quote me on that, it just seems the logical choice.
  2. That's what you get at http://2lisanet.com:2095 ? Or when after you try to login? Like I said earlier though, you're not suspended, I've never heard of an error like that before.
  3. We don't have any ads for user sites, so cookies would otherwise have to be injected into your site's code by us, we don't do sleazy stuff like that. We'll never mess with your site's code unless you post for help with it here or even look at your account's content unless we get a report about illegal/inappropriate content/actions from it. If you go to the News forum, a pinned topic is us abiding by that law, but again the cookies mentioned apply only to our users who access our cpanels or visit either this site or the home site, heliohost.org.
  4. Remember, we're mostly americans, I'm personally awake right now out of pure luck.
  5. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache. The offending file is yesterday.py.
  6. Backups have been taken an a link to them has been provided to the address you registered with, let us know if you have any problems.
  7. If you care to wait a couple hours I can hop into the account and backup your databases, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes, but I'm currently busy.
  8. Your account sent another 157 emails in the 9 hours since its last unsuspension. To be fair that's actually relatively mild compared to some of the other cases of wild mailings. But it's still over 8x the limit if it had gone the full day.
  9. The hooper account isn't suspended. We restrict outgoing mail only, you can receive a million mail daily if you're that popular without getting into trouble. The main domain on the hooper account is baskets.tk. Users are limited to 1 account each, we could probably transfer the dedicated IP to your current active account and you could use the addon domain option in cpanel to host the new domain you plan on getting.
  10. It's all or nothing What do you mean? We only offer free hosting, there is no paid hosting upgrade. This is the third time so I can't unsuspend you on good faith alone.
  11. You were suspended for sending too many emails. Try to keep the traffic below 50 per day. I have unsuspended your account, if you still see the account suspended page try clearing your cache.
  12. Unsuspension denied, see http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/15492-solved-suspended-rapidleech-abusers/.
  13. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache.
  14. You were suspended for using over 716MB of disk space when the limit is 500MB. You have 24 hours to free up enough space before your account is resuspended.
  15. This account has been suspended for violation of our one account per user policy which is clearly stated during the creation process of each and every account on Heliohost. A common misconception is that you need a separate account for each website that you want to host, but since Heliohost differs from most free hosts and even most paid hosting by offering unlimited addon domains, unlimited parked domains, and unlimited sub domains one can easily and conveniently host as many separate websites as they wish all from your one free hosting account. If multiple accounts were created to get around our disk space limit we strongly suggest using a free service such as dropbox to host your large images, videos, and downloads while continuing to host your website with us if you wish. If you understand that each user is only allowed to have one active account please let us know which account you would like to use and it can be unsuspended for you. Also let us know if you need backups of any of the data on the other accounts, and if there are any domains on the suspended accounts that you would like to host on your main account because we will need to remove them from the suspended account before you will be able to host them on your unsuspended account. For example: user1: unsuspend user2: backup user3: backup, idontreadrules.com user4: thoughticouldgetawaywithit.org
  16. Your account was found to be running at least 6 different rapidleech installs, and several webproxies, which is not explicitly forbidden, and used in moderation wouldn't cause problems. However in your case you'd go days with nearly no load and suddenly you'd start using rapidleech heavily, causing massive load spikes in a day. When the server gets too bogged down it starts looking for ways to free up resources by suspending accounts that are being abusive starting with the highest load-causing account until the server load drops to normal parameters. To get an idea of how bad your abuse was, in one day you used 10% of the total RAM available on Stevie, while on any given day all users with Java enabled on Johnny use 10% of the total RAM available on Johnny; Stevie has more RAM available than Johnny. Apache on Stevie uses about 12% of Stevie's RAM on any given day, meaning that your account was nearly using as much memory as the service that serves all websites hosted on Stevie.
  17. As this is your third suspension for high server load your unsuspension request is being denied, if you would like we can move your account to Johnny which has a higher threshold before it starts high load suspensions.
  18. There is no other resource that we explicitly restrict and 500mb of extra space are currently up for grabs.
  19. In your case you don't need multiple accounts, your client's site could be used as an addon domain. You can manage both your site and your client's site from the same cPanel and each site would have unique content.
  20. As this is your third suspension for high server load your unsuspension request is being denied, if you would like we can move your account to Johnny which has a higher threshold before it starts high load suspensions.
  21. Your account was suspended for the following reason: Malware. 1 file(s). PHP.Shell-38 FOUND That means that there are some malware files found on your account. For your safety and to protect your website from potential further corruption the account has been suspended. To find the infected files we recommend making a backup of your site, download the backup file to your computer, and scan the backup using a reputable virus and malware scanner. If you're having trouble locating the offending files please ask and we can provide more information. If you are you certain that it is a false-positive, we strongly encourage you to file a false positive form here: http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi Your account should be unsuspended now, but keep in mind that this is a temporary unsuspension. You have 24 hours starting at the time of this post to clean your account of any and all malicious files or your account will be resuspended.
  22. Basically, yeah. Redoing our infrastructure will take time, that time is downtime. If we had a new server we could test out CloudLinux on it but dropping either Stevie or Johnny and reimaging them is impossible. We have almost 7200 active accounts currently, about 4k on Johnny, the rest on Stevie, that's 7200+ functional websites with their own userbase, if you add inactive and suspended account that jumps to just under 28.5k accounts. Also we have nowhere to offload account data while we reimage the servers so if we reimage a machine that's 4k active accounts being erased for no reason, plus 10k users who could want a data backup or account reactivation. Over 8 years we've managed to form a relatively stable system, Stevie is proof that it works and works great. Johnny is unstable because we push it far beyond what we allow on Stevie.
  23. The proper way to set up parked domains is by setting your domain's NS records to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org.
