Hi, Yes, please do transfer existing cPanel account with all files to the Plesk account. Also, make sure to use core.com email address (comcast.net email address is no longer valid). Thanks a lot! Hi, An unrelated query: Would anyone at Helio be interested in being hired for a fee to advise me on Wordpress use? I have a WP site which mostly doesnt work and has in some way corrupted certain files that I have linked to WP. I find WP to be an incompetent concoction and unless things can be straightened I want to get rid of it. Thanks! Hi, I can describe the issue as: I am on HelioHost Websites & Domains. Then I reach Files, i.e., File Manager for gstong.helioho.st. Under Home Directpry there are 3 entries: .composer, httpdocs and logs. None of these lead to any files I used to have at the original Helio host. I suspect these files were never transmited to Plesk. (if these pages I described are Plesk). I hope this is enough information for you to see the problem. Simply put, I dont seem to be accessing the Plesk file manager Helio has move to. Thanks ahead for your help! Hi, I logged in to the Plesk site, but I cant make any sense of it. Under File (manager) I get this (please see attached). I don't see the usual page with all the files at the Host as I used to. Hm ok, I guess I was on Johnny Server...so I guess I must wait for the server to be rebuilt with PLESK, then log in and upload the files again? Or should I register a new account? I had also requested change of my contact email gary_tong@comcast ( no longer useable) to gstong@core.com. Perhaps your renewal email went to the comcast address? but I cant get into that site. Could be that the email address was in fact revised since the last two from you came to gstong@core.com? So, please change the email address. Thanks! Hello again, Thanks a lot for the update and all the details. Let me elaborate on my previous email though. I think that (reviews) is what most of your potential clients see while making decisions regarding heliohost.org and I think that it is worth having that improved, because people check and see what can be found in public. And only a few of them would contact You to specify details further. I have a batch of thoughts regarding that: -your website is a place where users can check "what" you provide, but not "how" service is being provided. Even if you place feedback on your own site it would not be enough for most users to make sure. So it is always useful to be active and present your services on other public sites. - within your own web site heliohost.org is a king and the best host ever, isn't it? But if you are in the public you allow others to compare with other providers "what" you provide and "how" you provide the service. - word-of-mouth is the most powerful way, and that is the key for public places. That does not work when you "canned" within your website. - public places is the way to allow other users to discover heliohost.org and learn "how" company provides services. - if you are active and new portions of fresh info appears on the public regular. That means your company is IN business and you increase credibility with the potential clients. I have been involved for a long time in such processes and activities and I DO have what to offer in that way. Hello, I would like to thank you for explanations and appreciate your time. It appears that most sites with legal content can be hosted and that means heliohost.org welcomes new clients. Correct? However when I (or any other potential client) check such sites like: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.heliohost.org https://www.whtop.com/review/heliohost.org#reviews etc... we can see some records which can be considered as thought-provoking in terms of time first of all (a kind of old records)...
