I understand that and I normally use ftp.stevie.heliohost.org or my domain name but ftp.stevie.heliohost.org doesn't seem to be working anymore, at least mot for me. EDIT: At the time of this post, login attempt fails to stevie.heliohost.org: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/test/ftp_login_stevie.php

Make that: ftp.heliohost.org I've been trying to connect using the one I posted all day and it doesn't seem to work anymore.

When I go to your site: http://vaylayz.co.cc/ I get a meta redirect to here: http://vaylayz.co.cc/a/ which is causing the 500 error. What do you have in the a directory index page? Have you checkd your Error log at your cpanel for explanation of 500 error? Are you using htaccess and if so you might try renaming the .htaccess file in the a directory to see if that helps.

You should be able to FTP into your site using your login username and password to this ftp-target: ftp.stevie.heliohost.org

ASP.NET is not working at this time but should be up within the next couple of months. Keep checking the Helionet News.

The 500 error is due to high server load. It's usually worse in the mornings. We are in the process of purging a very large number of inactive accounts and this could take a couple of months. Until then you'll just have to wait until later in the afternoon to go to your cpanel.

Go to your cpanel and look for Frontpage Extensions and click Uninstall. That will remove those folders. I would probably keep the cgi-bin though.

Also be sure to use your original login information when your site becomes active.

It's been awhile since I've had to set up an email account at my cpanel. Go to your cpanel and make sure that the default email address is set up.

Oh so basically your getting a bounce back when you try emailing your default email account from gmail? Have you tried emailing your heliohost email from another email provider? Have you set up your heliohost email account from cpanel?

You don't have access to the php.ini file. Any enabling you need to do should be done at your cpanel if it's possible.

You can password protect any part of your site that you want. If you happen to forget your password on a password protected directory, create a new password.

I get asked for a password (401 Authorization) when I go to that url. The new server isn't ready for accounts and I doubt we will transfer anybody. Stevie will get better in time.

Your php pages want take any longer, just your html pages that don't have any php. But it probably want be any thing noticable.

Why not use an email forwarder? You can set up your default address to forward all of your mail to gmail from your cpanel mail Forwarders
