Yes, look for the file named .htaccess and delete it.

Go to your public_html folder and look for the file name .htaccess and remove it.

As long as you still have the public_html folder you should be ok. Just try to install wordpress again.

@Secretmapper: Are you on a shared machine or behind a proxy? @Wizard: If you'll do a query of registration ip's beginning with this set at the ACP: 112.198.64 You'll see several people there with that ip range. And if you notice the last set of digits changes on his ip each time he posts. So I'm guessing that's why.
