  1. his great grandmother's favorite
  2. Wizard already said that, But keeping in the spirit however, BELL, Annoying bells! I live next to a monestery. Sungazer: Hisashiburi desu ne. I've been holed up in my office for the last few weeks, presentation is tomorrow morning. I'm so nervous i cant type. God i hate end users!
  3. I-tunes, goes seemlessly with audio, that and an ipod compel me to use it. Videos on the other hand i am not really impressed with the products i've used thus far, it seams the higher they climb on the version ladder, the more complicated and unsolvable the problems they produce. Whats up with that? I do know one thing though. I *HATE* (With passion, i cant stress this enough) windows media player. Its *TOO*(again stressing) taxing on my resources. I simply cannot see how MicroSocks justifies a user waiting 10 minutes to watch a 2 minute video. (maybe a little exagerated, but that's how it feels.
  4. Bolt as in: Sungazer was struck by a (the afore mentioned word) of lightning while looking at the sun. or the thing on Mr Potter's fore head. I vote for five letter words.
  5. Sorry to cut in but i just couldn't resist. PULA Its the local currency of Botswana!
  6. PAMA Pama is a town in the district of Neusiedl am See in Burgenland in Austria. AND Pama is a town located in the province of Kompienga in Burkina Faso. It is the capital of Kompienga Province. I had wanted to say YAMS, but the good doctor spoiled that one for me.
  7. Forgive me, but from the general flow of the conversation in this topic i had assumed that the "end of the world" meant that there's would be no humans after the fact. But that is a more welcome outlook than the "everyone is dead" scenario dont you think?
  8. Hmm. He handled it pretty well. I would have swore a whole lot more than that.
  9. LARA croft *tongue hanging out* haba haba
  10. Hmm, tough call. For now lets just say loyalty is like boiling water, if you dont keep the heat up it cools down.
  11. Its the same reason why parents choose to stick hidiously ugly pictures drawn by their chirldren on walls over beautiful paintings made by famous artists. OR Why one guy will always support a particular football team regardless of how much they have lost and regardless of the fact that there are better teams out there. It transends the issue of quality, hence you can not use quality alone as the measure of the degree of brand loyalty. For instance i'm a Chelsea fan, even if Arsenal was better i'd still be a Chelsea fan. Even if they lost evey game for the next ten years, I'D STILL BE A CHELSEA FAN! Man, i feel like i'm back at University!
  12. Cult fascination. Do you know why and how sony got into the video game consol market? Originally the play station was a concept made by Nintendo. Nintendo approached Sony to develop the technology for the CDROM which would have been used, a contract was signed and Sony got to work. Nintendo reviewed the contract later and decided that they got a raw deal so the defected to phillips and made a seriously uncool declaration at the Consumer Electronics Show in 1991. So here was sony stuck with a product and no market so instead of doing what others might have done, i.e. cut your losses and hold a grudge against Nintendo, Sony decided to stick it in Nintendo's face and finished development launching the PSX on the 3rd of December 1994(Japan), 9th of September 1995(US) and 29th of September 1995 (Europe). (FYI Nintendo sued, greedy b*st*rds!) Sony followed the PSX tradition by producing with the most loved console in history, the PS2 I dont like Nintendo cuz i believe the breach of contract they pulled on Sony was unprofessional, and i lost respect for them and hence i have never, currently do not and probably never will support them. Even back in the days when they duked it out with Sega i was a Sega fan! I bear no grudge against Microsucks Microsocks Macrohard Microsoft, i would buy the Xbox (and am in the process of doing so) but no matter how good they make it, it will ALWAYS defer to SONY It has nothing to do which is a better system, or which is priced ok. It's called brand loyalty, given a choice i will alway pick a Sony product above any other brand on the market today(Except for cellphones, there i'm a Samsung fan). Explanation enough for you?
  13. The phrase i used was miserable failure. It put a nice ring to it.
  14. Okay, that is a new one on me. So your view is God caused the big bang? i'm not arguing just saying its a nice compromise of science and religion.
  15. You're pretty deep and talented. It's an honor to call you friend.

  16. His a funny guy

  17. Hey look at that, Google comes in shona! But the person who wrote it in there had a serious deep shona sense of humour thing going on. Yea he says what he has to but includes things that aren't found in normal conversational shona. the funniest has to be: Which literaly means Natural english Yea i know it's off topic, i just had to say it.
  18. Okay, this topic just took a turn to the bizarre. しょうがない の i guess. Flying without outside influence, just brain power? Maybe, but i think that before we can get to that state of thinking we should be open minded enough without the prejudeces(is that correct spelling?) built into us by society, culture, religion you name it. Even if, as my buddy JcX, said there's some serious i dont think we'd be able to fly unless we are in the right frame of mind. Its no use having power if you dont believe you can use it. Did i make sense?
  19. roll call? Might as well. present, well most of the time anyway.
