Yea I get that problem too. I normally have about 10 tabs open at all times. And I don't like having to close firefox. My computer stays on 24/7 and so does firefox. And it uses a ton of memory when I do this. That why I'm glad Firefox 3 has a feature where it saves all your open tabs when you close it, and reopens them all next time you start Firefox. Although I know there were plugins that did that for FF2 I just didn't like any of them.

Would the DNS not resolving be why my site is inaccessible to some people while it's completely accessible to others? Happens to me alot when I'm working on it, and yet I'll ask a friend (on the other side of the US) to visit and it works fine for him.

After skimming the previous posts I hope I'm not bringing up a point already made. But If God created two humans (Adam and Eve) and all the creatures, did god create dinosaurs. Doesn't the bible say that god created earth, then light then humans (maybe not in that exact order but they were within days of each other) So where do the dinosaurs come from? Dinosaurs lived before humans, and were extinct before humans, did the dinosaurs live grow up have multiple generations of child dino's then become extinct all within the first day of earth being created? If anyone can explain this please do. I do and don't believe in God at the same time, I just have doubts because there are so many inconsistencies between what science has told us about the past and what the bible tells us of the past.

A cron job is basically a way for the server to run a script at a certain time and repeatedly. So if you have a script that updates the page views (like on youtube the video views aren't updated instantly, they are updated every so often) then you make a cron job that runs the script to update the page views. I'm sure there are many other uses but thats the one that popped into my head.

There's already an overabundance of competent flash tutorials out there. Heck, even Newgrounds has a section dedicated to that. @Joe: I concede that you are supremely awesome joe, but I doubt you can provide tutorials by yourself for every little thing. If you get other people to submit their expertise, we could get stuff done quicker. It'd be cool if you had not only your vids, but vids that other people submit, kind of like the youtube portal. That would be a good idea, but make sure if you go that route that you have some moderator or something to check the videos. Otherwise you could have some malicious users posting porn or other stuff that doesn't belong on a tutorial site! Or maybe a system where after you get so many (like 5) moderator approved tutorials you get auto approved.

I have had problems connecting to FTP before also, and currently it won't work with my domain, but if I type in the IP address of the server instead of my domain it connects just fine. 64.235.55.112 <-- Use that with your username and password, and it connects just fine. I don't know if this is a problem with heliohost's servers of what but at least we can still connect!

You can't change the socket but you could buy a new motherboard. (the board that you put the graphics card and memory and all that into)

Yea, thats what I figured too, but I really don't know if uni.cc has a whois server for it to check. well nevermind, it has to because that nameserver trace wouldn't have worked.

I'm pretty sure it's a set time every day. Because Yesterday I was able to collect my interest in the early afternoon, then only a few hours later I was able to collect again. And today so far I haven't been able to collect yet.

Well i'm 20yo male, and will be 21 in August. I can't wait. I like pretty much anything to do with computers, gaming, programming, coding websites, design, fixing/building computers (hardware side of that). I can't say that I'm all that good at everything I like, I just enjoy it. Technology just fascinates the [bleeped!] out of me. I also have a NEED for new cell phones. I used to work for Sprint and had a different phone every month. It's been over a year since I've worked there, and quite a few months since I've gotten a new phone, so I am LONG overdue. I also love parties. I am a very social person, even more so when drinking, and just enjoy everyones company. Yea small parties with good friends are nice, but I also like the keggers where you only know like 1/4 of the people. Me and a friend have played the who can make the most friends game a few times. We just go around chit chatting and get everyones phone number. Girl or not. (we normally just throw the guys number away or give it to our desperate fat friend, she loves it! lmao) I also have a passion for German cars. My first car was an Audi A4 which I bought all on my own, didn't use a penny of my parents money, nor did I use anyone else's credit. All me. That was such an awesome day. But ever since then, I refuse to get any car that wasn't made it Germany. Anyways I'm sure thats WAY more than anyone wanted to know! Later.

I really don't know, because I have trippin.uni.cc up and running just fine. And I didn't sign up with it, I opted for the sub domain with you guys, so it had to work at one point and time. I just tried again in cPanel and it's giving me the same error. Helio is just an MVNO. Basically they rent out their minutes from other carriers. If I'm not mistaken Helio buys minutes from Verizon.
