    Changes Coming

You must be using the legacy file manager. On my cPanel page I made a screen shot of the icons for File Managers, and wrote under them the version that loads for me. The v3 File Manager I personally think is way better.

    PHP Mail

Well unless the Name field on your form asks for the users email that might be why. I always assumed the from: had to be an email address.
  3. Death itself doesn't really scare me, what scares me is either having everyone around me dying and me not being able to do anything about it, or me dying and knowing that everyone I've loved or that has loved me can't ever talk to me again. I guess if the soul isn't real then I wouldn't have to worry about my loved ones after I'm dead, but the thought still makes me sad. But the paranormal and soul discussion interests me, I think we should talk more about that, but then again it's off topic. But then again my whole topic is "off-topic".
  4. I honestly thought I replied to this, I really found this interesting. I seem to be one of the few users that use Vista and don't have any problems with it (one or two, but thats a pretty fair amount). I liked the clip of the one guy when he is told Mojave is Vista, he pauses then said, "So then why is it faster?" I wanted to hit him.
  5. Happy Birthday JJ! WOOOOOO. AndI've got two weeks until my birthday I can't wait, i'll be 21
  6. I'm sorry I'm probably not contributing to the subject, but I wanted to say another option instead of xampp would be to use Apache2triad. I just personally think it's a lot better and the web control panel it offers is a lot more robust. I just wanted to let you know as it can be a pain to install each separately (apache, mysql, ftp, etc) and might help you test everything before you make the site live.
  7. I'd just like to say I personally am grateful djbob offers this service to us. And the site doesn't suck, since it works for the rest of us!
  8. Crazybump, I find it kind of ironic that you talked about capitalization in your post yet forgot to capitalize all the "I"'s in your post. ☺ Also I am getting the same error in Fantastico De Luxe, but for me it's not a problem since I just manually install any scripts I use. But here is the error for djbob: Fantastico is not installed at the default location /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico. Either move the Fantastico directory from it's current location to /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico OR enable ioncube loaders in WHM -> Tweak settings.
  9. *Keeps fingers crossed* Either way though, being that that is the only problem I have with you guys, it really makes you the best free host. Period. Thanks alot and here's to hoping it works!
  10. Well it has been working fine, it will just randomly go out one evening, and will come back when I get up the next morning. But I have changed my name servers, so we will see what happens. Hope this fixes it! ----edit---- I just thought of something, I doubt this will fix it because helionet.org will not work for me either when my site is down. And it's not like I can change the name servers for helionet.org
  11. I think I mentioned this before, and djbob asked me to do a tracert (I believe) so I did. If it was something else let me know, and I'll do it too! But I cannot access my site, or helionet.org (except through proxy) at random times. I was hoping Stevie would solve this, but he hasn't. :-\ The weird thing is I can access my site through trippin.heliohost.org yet I can't access it through my parked domain trippin.uni.cc Everyone else it seems can access through either. Here is my tracert of my trippin.uni.cc domain, then google.com, then my trippin.uni.cc domain again, then my trippin.heliohost.org domain. If you need/want anything else from me, or can give me a solution, I'd love one. It's quite annoying to go and try to access your site, only to find out you (the owner) can't access it while everyone else it seems can. Thanks!
  12. That guy is funny. I watched quite a few of his videos. It's like a new genre of movie: Comedic Nostalgia
  13. I personally don't like flash sites. I think they are clunky and ugly most of the time. I mean there are specific uses for using flash, like video players where having a gif file that huge would just be ridiculous. But I mean coding your whole site in flash is pretty pointless... I've noticed alot of sites that did their site in flash, and it could have been done with simple HTML & CSS and would have taken up alot less space. I know it's all down to personal preference, but you also have to consider if your visitors like your site. Because without your visitors, there isn't any point to having a website.
  14. I also just noticed a missing post, in the movies thread, I specifically remember posting, and I also noticed my post count was 2 or 3 short, but I haven't found any other missing posts yet.
  15. Lucky Number Slevin. It's such a great movie because it doesn't follow the same plot outline as most movies, meaning it's not predictable at all. I personally was surprised (in a good way) a number of times, because the movie didn't go where I thought it was going. So I suggest you watch this movie, I personally think you'll love it.
  16. A cronjob or cronscript is a script that the server runs whenever you tell it to and how often you tell it to. Here is something I found on Google that kind of explains it better.
  17. You know, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but putting other people's choices down (by saying their media player sucks) is bad. It's very Fan-Boyish. I personally hate iTunes, it's a memory hog, and doesn't do everything I want it to. I personally love Winamp, yea winamp uses alot of memory but not as much as itunes or windows media player. So I could go on to say that iTunes sucks, but it doesn't, it's a very good media player, it just doesn't work for me.
  18. Wow this thread has become pretty informative. I also have never seen any motherboards or cpu's like that (with the pins in the MB). But in my past experience, I've only bent a couple pins on one CPU and was easily able to bend them back straight with needle nose pliers. I was lucky, but then again it was a pretty old computer (200mhz lol)
  19. There was/is a Facebook group that was created in 'honor' of Pluto. If you want I might be able to find it, but I don't feel like getting on Facebook.

    Changes Coming

Hopefully I won't have problems loading site with the new server. I still get random outages where nothing not even helionet works, but heliohost will work. And just yesterday, all the sites including helionet worked, yet helioHOST didn't work. Do we actually get a transfer or do we just end up making a new account and have to reupload everything?
