Um, is that against rules or technically impossible? Careful... if you use up too much resources on this server, djbob will suspend your account, and you won't be able to sign up again. This is a free hosting service, so he really can't keep accounts that take up too many resources, otherwise, the server would be down a whole lot more than it already is, and nobody would be happy. I intend to set up logging of a single channel for personal convenience... I doubt it would hog up a lot of resources... If it is disallowed on principle, I will, of course, cease attempts. I would advise against trying to run an irc bot off of our server. It's not explicitly against the rules, but use common sense. Irc bot != web hosting. Also, since you can't "make install" it should be obvious that there are some technical limitations regarding permissions and such that prevent you from executing certain things. Moreover, such a bot would eat up more resources than you would think. Try running it off of your own computer or go get paid hosting.

Did you add a user to the database with the proper permissions? My cPanel username is wizard. If I were to create a user named "user" for a database named "db", my user and database name would be wizard_user and wizard_db.

Database and ID is wrong. IIRC, it should be [username]_[whatever name you gave to the database]. Likewise for ID.

Your username to login to cPanel is "umesh". Try that.
