  1. But even then, similar to FF, Opera has numerous plugins available for download on their website. In addition, Opera supports most Netscape plugins; that would come in handy for people transferring browsers or ISPs. These plugins range from media players and viewers to organizers, and the list doesn't stop there. Heh, it sounds a lot like FF. - ArceRC - Van We might havta start doing broswer races. Seriously. All of these browser developers are trying to be the best so they keep adding and making new stuff for their browsers! All in all, these browsers are really close in performance. - ArceRC - Van
  2. That would be the '360' and yes it counts. I do believe he meant 'with' because he said 'on'. Anyways, most of my internet is used playing on Xbox Live. I have Comcast, and Xbox Live plays seamlessly which keeps me coming back everyday to play. I have never actually used an internet phone system such as Skype or Vonage, but they do seem pretty practical as well as cheap. But I think broadband internet was made for online gaming - ArceRC - Van

  4. Well... yes. I think that in time yes, future transportation may not need fuels... but that is still forever away. Just look at the past and see how far we have advanced in technology. People never thought it would possible to get a clock to stay synchronized on a wooden ship. Now we have digital clocks that synchronize in realtime with satellites in space! I know it may not be the best analogy, but I think you understand. - ArceRC - Van
  5. As an addition to the "What kind of instrument do you play" topic, I thought it would be cool to see what kind of music you guys like to play. If you read in the other topic you know that I play the guitar... and I love to play rock! I can't pick a certain style though, I love to play rock from the legends such as Led Zeppelin and Blue Oyster Cult to the awesome Avenged Sevenfold. Anyways, what about you guys? - ArceRC - Van
  6. When arguing that the 360 closely rivals the PS3 in graphics, I find it hard to believe that you would use Halo 3 as an example. Sure it's pleasant to look at and fun to play, But I think it barely pushes the envelope when it comes to true next generation. If you take Assassins Creed for example (even though it is also available on the PS3) you can see that the 360 has a lot of power. Not to mention, there is also other games such as Forza, COD4, Bioshock, and even Ninety-Nine Nights that look stunning on the 360. - ArceRC - Van
  7. Well, I just saw The Pick of Destiny with Jack Black. It is so hilarious, I was laughing for hours after watching it. That movie is pure genius. - ArceRC - Van
  8. Agreed. With the vast variety of plugins available for FF, there is no reason why you would choose any other browser. I have plugins for just about everything I can think of. Opera is not necessarily a bad browser, but some online services don't support Opera. On the other hand, there many services that can only be used by FF users. I run Vista with FF installed so I have both IE and FF. All in all, it's not a bad combo to have! - ArceRC - Van
  9. Is your Gibson a Gold Top? If so, how much did you pay for it? Just thought it might be because of the year. - ArceRC - Van
  10. Yeah, but if you're not careful Microsoft might catch you and ban you from Live. - ArceRC - Van
  11. I don't think that GTA4 has been released yet. I've seen some screenshots of it, and it looks amazing! So I agree, add that to the top 50. Just today or yesterday Microsoft put Undertow available for free download if you have Live. I downloaded it but not actually played it. I'm assuming you have Xbox Live, so I think your next choice should be Call of Duty 4. - ArceRC - Van
  12. It seems to me like a whole bunch of people have jumped on the Zune bandwagon. I don't personally own one but I can see why: it's just the right size, large amount of space, videos, pictures, music, file sharing, personalizing up the butt, and so on... I personally like the iPod Nano 3d Generation: 1 Original 4th Generation (20 gb): 1 - ArceRC - Van
  13. Lately I've been seeing a large number of car commercials advertising the new Microsoft Sync. In my opinion, it looks quite useful; possibly even more safe due to it freeing up people's hands! I wouldn't mind owning a car with it. What do you guys think? Would you like to use it, or do you think its a waste of money? If any of you guys are currently using it, I would love to hear your input. - ArceRC - Van
  14. Well, I'm not entirely knowledgeable on the subject, but I did do a Google search. I found an interesting website/forum that had a guy who I suppose did what you are trying to do. You can find the website here: U3 on NON U3 Drive The only problem I can see with this is that it requires that you already have a U3 drive (possibly defeating the entire purpose). But, it may still be good for you to read. - ArceRC - Van
  15. Ooooh, I love this topic! I play guitar, bass guitar, and drums... I own three guitars, they are: - An Ibanez acoustic guitar with on board EQ and tuner - A hollow body electric Epiphone Emperor II - An electric Epiphone SG As far as bass guitars go I own a Schecter Stiletto custom 4 string <-- Very nice. And as far as drums go I own a electric Yamaha; it's fun to play because you can change the sounds and such. Music is so important to me. - ArceRC - Van
  16. I know it's been awhile since it came out, but the last movie I saw was Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. This is all I have to say.... POTC: 1 > POTC: 2 > POTC: 3 - ArceRC - Van
  17. I have to agree. Xbox live makes Halo 3 what it is. - ArceRC - Van
  18. 2003-2004 Toyota Avalon It's a decent car, Not to bad on gas and quite roomy - ArceRC - Van
  19. 50 games?! Wow, for just getting an xbox, thats a large number! I think it all depends on if you have Xbox Live or not. If you do, I would recommend: Halo 3 Call of Duty 4 Gears of War Bioshock is pretty good Forza Motorsport 2 (If it didn't come with your xbox) Assassins Creed (you don't need xbox live for this one) Thats my two cents - ArceRC - Van
  20. I have to agree, I always seem to get the best results when I use google. - Van
  21. I would have to say the 360 takes the prize... After all, it does have Xbox Live... - ArceRC - Van
  22. Wait, so if you use Gamemaker 7 and you make a commercial game, YoYo Games can step in whenever they want and make you pay royalties? Or is the new license that you get royalty free... - Van
  23. I think it depends on what kind of 3rd party software you're running... Let's say that you use a third party tool to rip open your PSP and install a mod-chip (just an example)... If you ruin your PSP, Sony probably won't send you a new one... However, if you put a case on your PSP that is licensed by Sony and somehow ruins your PSP, Sony might send you a new one... I think it might work. - Van
  24. Yes, there is such thing, I have it on my PC user mag DVD that transforms your computer into "Vista" though it can't easily be removed because of a bug. So it makes your thing look like vista, but its still different. Is it hard to setup? - Van
