  1. "Crazy war game" isn't the way I'd describe it though. It is a great game, don't get me wrong, but it's not as "crazy" as people make it sound. It has a fantastic multiplayer ranking system that raises the level of competitiveness amongst the more competitive gamers, yet, it's not as crazy as say, Call of Duty 4. Although Halo 3 vs. Call of Duty 4 is whole another flame war in itself, I recommend buying both. - ArceRC - Van
  2. So it is thought by scientisits that there are planets that could sustain life? - ArceRC - Van
  3. Was it uncommon at one point for the average person to own an inkjet when they first hit the market? Was there a common household printer before the inkjet? - ArceRC - Van
  4. If the PS3 wins when it comes to gaming and detail... What do you like about the 360 exactly? - ArceRC - Van
  5. How many "Earth-Like worlds" do these scientists believe are out there? I just don't know if I like the word "swarming". - ArceRC - Van
  6. I'm not actually familiar with the original Spiderman comic books, but was the giant sandman character ever in? If not, then Spiderman may be changed in my eyes forever more. Or at least the writers for the movie - ArceRC - Van
  7. Well, how many people go to a single concert? I think talented bands can live off the money that is generated at every concert they play at. Especially if the bands play somewhere food or refreshments are sold. If the band gets a cut of all of the money spent at food stands, they'll make a killing off of alcohol alone. - ArceRC - Van
  8. What? Stop playing music with a cell phone? I don't think that the cell phone was made for that purpose anyways. I think he meant a phone service such as Vonage, that uses your internet to make calls. He may have meant cell phones if the intended computer was bluetooth or wifi compatible. - ArceRC - Van
  9. Well, it looks like anything it can use isn't really practical for building serious items. - ArceRC - Van
  10. Who would've thought that a pair of Italian plumbers created by Japanese programmers would captivate the world so? I think it's more odd that a simple arcade game consisting of a character named Jump Man, who battled an oversized Ape hurling barrles to save a princess, evolved into what is now Nintendo's star icon. - ArceRC - Van
  11. Have you tried the Xbox Live goodness yet? I remember when Project 8 came out. It was pretty cool, containing good graphics and such, but seeing screenshots and videos of Skate really leads me to belive that it has set the new standard for skating games! If the Xbox Live multiplayer is somewhat fun, I may consider buying this game. - ArceRC - Van
  12. Ok, I think I understand now. So when you buy The Orange Box, you are actually getting all those packs/addons you listed? If so, then buying it seems like a really good idea! - ArceRC - Van
  13. I normally get ripped for this, but, I would choose Spiderman 3. The reason for this is because I never saw Transformers. Yes, you heard right, I never Transformers. Although, I did see Spiderman 3 and I have to say that it was amazing. I loved the inner battle he faced with his darker side and the tears he had between his love and his duty... Spiderman 3 was a great movie, and besides, I heard that Transformers had it's downsides too. - ArceRC - Van
  14. Same reason why IBM used to be the de facto standard in computing. Most big corporations and businesses are oriented in such a way that they will do whatever makes them the most profit and will watch, but not act on, alternatives unless they prove to be profitable. That is why some programs are beginning to have Mac ports. If we take a look around, we can see that we are on the edge of yet another paradigm shift in computing. Firefox and the rest of the open source movement are receiving attention from the mass market. Firefox continues to burn away at Microsoft's IE market share and will continue to do so until IE stops sucking. IE8 doesn't exactly sound promising. Check it out. So what your saying is: Many businesses are starting to see that they may be more profitable on the Mac platform? I understand that there many more examples such as your browser comparison. If this is the case, would it be possible to say that Microsoft might get their act together and produce a ground-breaking IE? - ArceRC - Van
  15. Hmmm... Although the idea is quite clever, and the actual 'printed' objects look nice, I think that a 'Fabber' in everyones home is just a bit unrealistic. I just don't see your 'average Joe' scrounging up enough dough to buy this little charm. Unless I was trying to do something specific, I would probably spend my money on something a little more practical. - ArceRC - Van
  16. What is the Orange Box? I saw it at the store but was confused because it said it was an add on or something... So do you have to buy another version or just that one, and what is this talk about portals...? - ArceRC - Van
  17. Hmmm... Sorry if this sounds weird to anyone... But, who is Chevelle? Never heard of them. - ArceRC - Van
  18. Do you ride a bike everywhere you go? If not, how do expect everyone else in the world too? I think if everyone drove their bikes around, it would be total chaos. - ArceRC - Van
  19. They are oriented in the costumer in the way which gets them the most profit. They are oriented towards the costumer, but they make the people who write applications for the costumers go through hoops just to make them compatible. EDIT: Also, I'm beginning to use opera a lot more. But why then are there more programs compatible with the PC as opposed to the Mac platform? - ArceRC - Van
  20. Do you play any Avenged Sevenfold? Or would you not consider them metal... Hmm, I never thought about it... Would they be considered metal? - ArceRC - Van
  21. Haha what were you exactly expecting? - ArceRC - Van
  22. I don't own it, but isn't that game XBox Live ready? I think it would be cool to skate online with friends. - ArceRC - Van
  23. I remember when I was in Elementary School, they made us use either Dogpile or Ask Jeeves... Coincidentally, I don't care for either of them now . - ArceRC - Van
  24. Ok, since Wizard did not post one I will: "What plant always stands for the number 4?" (Here's a hint: the plants is the number 4 ) - ArceRC - Van
  25. Oh yes, I forgot to add Mass Effect to my list of amazing 360 games. Mass Effect is an awesome game that will appeal to you even if you're not an RPG fan. It mixes amazing graphics similar to FPS games, with open breathing worlds found in RPGs. I think Mass Effect might even bring hardcore FPS gamers into the RPG genre! - ArceRC - Van
