  1. Haha, that reminds me: One time, when I was traveling to San Antonio, I stopped at some diner place to get some food. Well, my phone was almost dead so I brought in my charger and just casually plugged it into the wall. When the manager walked by he almost had a heart attack! I don't know what a simple phone could do. Anyway, I was wondering, if this is in a public establishment, how is it powered? - ArceRC - Van
  2. What is 'mod'? You like playing guitar in the shower?! Or maybe just singing, lol. - ArceRC - Van
  3. If you get a chance, check out GT5. It'll blow your mind. - ArceRC - Van
  4. That's really good! Did Wizard play it? Or did he just record it? If he wrote this, maybe he could put up a tab... Haha, just kidding Really nice though! - ArceRC - Van
  5. Haha, I found 12 out of the 14 but still, that's really awesome! Yeah, I think GT5 tops all the ones posted here so far. - ArceRC - Van
  6. Heh, that game is so realistic it's scary. That game is pure showcase. - ArceRC - Van
  7. Maybe he means MIDI/mod or some virtual instrument. Oh, like those composers? I found those type of programs hard to use... I don't know why though... - ArceRC - Van
  8. I think it would be kind of hard to get to. You think there will be a whole bunch of cables running to outlets in a restaurant? - ArceRC - Van
  9. Wow. And I thought SYNC was first... Maybe they're the first to integrate it within an automobile setting? - ArceRC - Van

    PHP Memory

Yeah, I figured. No problem - I don't have to use it; I'll just design a site based off of a template from that system. Haha, 20 is a lot... and it's not even the recommended! - ArceRC - Van
  11. Have you played a Wii before? The Wii is overrated, and falsely advertised. At first I thought the idea was cool and innovating too, but was sadly disappointed to find that the movements of the mote were unsynchronized and sluggish. I was sad to find that instead of actually swinging the mote in a desired direction to get your characters to do something, you could just tap it on your leg, and the character would perfom the same action! I felt let down for some reason. - ArceRC - Van

    PHP Memory

No, I believe it's a different type of memory. Most hosts limit a user to 8MB-16MB of PHP memory. This is to prevent a user from bogging down the servers and such. The CMS I wish to run is called SilverStripe (you can google it). It's one of the nicest and most feature-rich systems out there, however, it requires at least 20MB of PHP memory (not even including the recommended 32MB). - ArceRC - Van

    PHP Memory

Hey, I was wondering, do you guys have a limit set on PHP memory? I was looking at a CMS that seems like it might be a little resource intensive. - ArceRC - Van
  14. Haha, that's cute. Have there been voice activated radios for cars around before SYNC was created? - ArceRC - Van
  15. Have you ever thought about picking up and learning to play? "the computer" What? As music? - ArceRC - Van
  16. What is it that draws people to FireFox, and then leads them to believe that it is so much better than I.E.? After looking at that chart, I thought to myself, "Is it purely word of mouth that makes people believe this nonsense?" - ArceRC - Van
  17. What? I thought North America would be in first... Anyways, yeah, I'm from North America - ArceRC - Van
  18. You can't make a choice in this pole based on the fact that Halo 3 is the only game you own! It doesn't make sense. Call of Duty 4 beats Halo 3 in graphics without a doubt. Sure, more people own Halo then CoD4 but that doesn't mean the graphics are better. Assassins Creed is another game that beats Halo 3 when it comes to graphics. However, to compare it to CoD4 seems hard. They are two different games in two different genres... Assassins Creed has great graphics and so does Call of Duty 4. On the other hand, Halo 3 wins when it comes to customization and a wide variety of fun addons (like the theater). - ArceRC - Van
  19. Hmm... I would think that if you were using your music with Sync, then you would know what songs and their names there were... - ArceRC - Van
  20. Well, instead of "playing" the music, do you "sing" the music you write? I have a lot of respect for people who can legitimately write and compose music. To me it just seems like an art that requires a rare skill to master. - ArceRC - Van
  21. Oh, yeah, I guess it would be pretty mandatory to have the owner program their voice... I just remember watching the commercials on T.V. that had a car with "SYNC powered by Microsoft" and the lady giving it commands. It looked pretty cool but I guess with all technology, there are some drawbacks. I just read on the Microsoft SYNC website that it even translates your voice into SMS text messages for hands-free texting... I didn't realize how much this thing can prevent accidents! - ArceRC - Van
  22. Are you kidding?! Microsoft Surface seems like the coolest thing since sliced bread! Sure, it may be impractical for the average Joe to have in his own home, but what about food services or hotels as shown in their promo video? A hotel could have three or four of them in the lobby for guests to use and plan their day out on. Higher end food establishments could replace every table with these. On the video, you can see customers buying food, shopping for other items, and even playing with the simulated bubbles on the screen. I would love to own one in my living room! - ArceRC - Van
  23. Haha, that seems like it could be a problem... Do you know how it works? Do you have to program your own voice, or is it truly just smart technology? - ArceRC - Van
  24. That's awesome; haha, didn't everyone play the recorder when they were younger, I know I did. As is it, I'm playing guitar at a coffee shop this upcoming Saturday, so I'm really excited! If I were to guess, it would be either a choir or solo... I don't know why though... - ArceRC - Van
  25. Yeah it did... Was that second part an actual response from you to the company? - ArceRC - Van
