[Solved] Subdomains or 2 accounts thinking by greedy user
Sn1F3rt replied to hrts's topic in Customer Service
Anyone can ask for this. Ofc the other subdomain which isn't your main domain has to be obtained with the help of an Admin. -
I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error rather than a 404.
-
Actually your account has been archived. It can easily be restored by an Admin so you needn't worry.

[Solved] Internal Server Error - Softaculous Apps Installer
Sn1F3rt replied to webdevsemo's topic in Customer Service
Actually that has got to do with load itself. Maybe you were unlucky again, as you'd have tried to access Sofaculous when the server was under high load again. Shouldn't be anything to do with your account TBH. -
Wake for an Admin or a Moderator to point out the exact cause, don't be impatient.

[Solved] Internal Server Error - Softaculous Apps Installer
Sn1F3rt replied to webdevsemo's topic in Customer Service
Sofaculous on Tommy works fine for me. Maybe, at the time you're trying to access Sofaculous, the server qas under high load. Just try again, it should be alright. -
Yep, just use the Add-on Domains feature of cPanel.
-
Krydos can enable that for you.

[Solved] Old sub-domain unavailable but still around
Sn1F3rt replied to tpog's topic in Customer Service
The tpog is only the forum account that you're talking about. There's no cPanel account with this username. Make a post in 'Contact HelioNet' section to delete your forum account (tpog). Then delete your account and post using tpog2 and an Admin or a Moderator will send you an invite to Johnny, and you can recreate your account. Then an Admin will rename the tpog2 forum account to tpog. -
[Solved] Old sub-domain unavailable but still around
Sn1F3rt replied to tpog's topic in Customer Service
Unfortunately, the only way to rename a cPanel hosting username is to delete your username and signup again. Although an Admin can send you an invite for the same, do it only if it's needed. For the forum account, and Admin can easily rename it for you. -
Well your website isn't down though. It just redirects to http://facenook.heliohost.org/

Which version of PHP are you using?
-
Well no bargaining here please. This isn't a fish market. Standard and simple rates, $5 for an extra GB and no more, even on donation.
-
Well that is to usual account load. If you read the notices on the page, you'll find that the one you see is the shared server load. There's also something called Spike Load. That's when your account suddenly uses a huge amount of load, maybe for a fraction of a second, but it's still suspended by the automated script. Regarding WP, agreed that it's used by millions of users over the world, but you must also keep in mind that this is a shared free hosting server where everyone must get their fair share. You cannot use an excessive amount of load which might bring down the overall performance of the server and disturb other users. Besides, WordPress does create a lot of load, and Ricky being already bloated, that's exactly why your account got suspended. Regarding the MySQL issue, that happens when MySQLd is down due to a heavy load on the server. Of late, Ricky's load is much more than usual and hence, the MySQL service may not be available everytime. Again, that's usually fixed in a few minutes. FYI, this sometimes happens on Tommy as well. Finally, there's a plan to move Ricky to better hardware for improved performance but there's no ETA, till then just bear a little patience with the HelioHost Service. Regards,

Krydos can install them for you. Which version of PHP are you using though?
-
This usually happens when the MySQLd is down due to heavy load. Most probably you're on Johnny and heavy load is common there. That usually gets fixed itself in sometime, so you needn't worry. Just check back after sometime.

[Solved] Expedite Java re-Installation/enablement?
Sn1F3rt replied to ttc's topic in Customer Service
You could make a donation of minimum $1 and an admin will move you to Tommy. It'll take about a week to get Java access. -
Well it seems Facebook for some reason blacklists HH subdomains. I've myself noted it and heard a few others complain about the same. As of now, I dunno if there's a way to fix this unless FB themselves decide to delist HH subdomains from blacklist.
-
Actually it isn't suspended, but it's archived as you haven't logged in to your account of late. An admin will shortly unarchive your account.

[Solved] Um... I'm not sure what happened but...
Sn1F3rt replied to guntxjak's topic in Customer Service
Well that happens when the MySQLd goes offline due to high server load. There have been a lot of such complaints over the past few days from Johnny users. If you're on Johnny that's not a very uncommon happening. Usually, it's fixed in a few minutes. If you'd like a reliable server, consider moving to Tommy. Free signups open up at midnight UTC and fill in a few seconds so you'll have to be quick. You could skip the hassle though by making a donation (minimum $1) and have your account moved to Tommy straightaway by an admin. -
Well you should be able to grant those permissions to the user at the time of creating the database. After you create a database, you wanna add a user to it, and that's when you'll be prompted for granting permissions to that user.
