Recently in my only website peac2u,.. here, i found it can't log in to the Joomla BackEnd. When inspecting the mysql, i found the Super Admin password was changed. How can i prevent this from happening? Does this mean the website is compromised? What route does intruder use to make the change. I seem to remember that this is the 2nd time this occur.

Thank you for the new settings. I try the joomla update, it started but it stop at 12%. Trying again this time up to 85.5% but Error 0 appear but then on reloading Joomla backup, the update is sucessful. Any advice on the scenario and meaning of zero error.

Krydos I just browse http://krydos.heliohost.org/72/phpinfo.php after setting my site to php 7.2 version, I found the upload_Max_filesize is only 2M and post_max_size is 8M. Can you kindly set both to 64M for php7.2. Thanks

Wolstech for your happy hunting more info 1 before this new Tommy, i need to rely on softculous (recommended by Krydos) to do update. But now softculous is no longer an option. 2 I can't update from 9.13 to 9.14 all the way up to 9.16 now So perhaps you can compare these 3 environment to pin point the requirement.

Sorry i peek at your php info to check out the values. But in hostgator joomla update ok, you still think joomla product is problem?

Just found the issue, i added to .htaccess 2 lines that cause the block: php_value upload_max_filesize 64M php_value post_max_size 64M I was trying to update the Joomla.

Can't lo g in to Joomla backup or front end from browser eg peace2u.heliohost.org. This response with "500 Internal Server Error". I am going to have a look at the error log to dig in. I use a Uptime Robot that send to my email. Since Mar30 it says it is down trying to goto peace2.heliohost.org. I can howeverget the CPanel.

I mean the following php_value upload_max_filesize 64M php_value post_max_size 64M I imagine I can try this with the local .htaccess; however for other user having this similar issue, perhaps better to set the global php settings. Anyway i can't check if this is the cause as Tommy has been down for hours now. Thank you for the response.

The Max. Upload Size: 2M | Max. POST Size: 8M are too small to update joomla,change both to a minimum of 64M Memory limit is 32M better to be 128M or better. Above is from FPA, Krydos can you change these limits.

Krydos: Could it be caused by file rights limitations that block Joomla from over writing folders in website during the update progress. I tried to use a downloaded Jm 3.9.x to 3.9.16 update.zip the result is still "no go". Thanks for reading.

Thanks brothers for response. My last resort as Krydos said is to upload from my localhost which is already updated to latest Joomla version. Meanwhile I will also try update indirectly from an uploaded folder of joomla.update

Still unable to update Is it possible that your server disallowed directly writing to website, thus requiring FTP Hope Krydos can look at it from this angle. Thanks mate.

Php used is 7.19 Probably relevant is hostgator Joomla update to .14 no issue. In fact at Tommy last update to .12 .13 no problem. I had a peep at surflulous but unlike old times no update option available. KRYDOS happy hunting.

sohamb03 Thanks, reply a bit late i have clear the joomla cache but which DNS to flush or how to flush DNS; peace2u.heliohost.org still gives a 500 error when i try update Joomla. Can i go to the file manager at cpanel and remove all the cache files in the 4 sub folders under .cpanel > cache

Hi folks I can do joomla update at my Joomla backup. I used to have this problem before the new Tommy wherein i rely on softaculous. Since the new Tommy i have updated a number of times at Joomla BEnd smoothly. In my latest attempt from Jm v3.9.13 to ..14 the server said "This Page is not working", peace2u....org unable to handle this request. Any clue whats happening?
