  1. Past hour
  2. Sorry was that “why” directed at me? Happy to share my motivation for inquiring about the fgci handler name. I have three goals: Teaching moment. Seeing the configs (and finding them) is what got me the experience I have today. Radical transparency. The conventional wisdom is “you can’t share your .htaccess files! It’s a security risk!” But I challenge that as vestigial superstition. Simplicity. I listed a couple alternatives in my original post, but there’s lots of ways to accomplish the goal of “seeing the php source” (which has no security risks. There’s no database connection, no other files are accessed, etc.) All of which feel more unnecessary than (hopefully) a single .htaccess line.
  3. The account msbsurfi is being moved from Johnny to Tommy.
  4. A payment has been made. Please check.
  5. Today
  6. Fixed. We changed the price of Tommy from $1 to $2 in June, but sort of left the Johnny upgrades at $1 for a while since Johnny accounts are relatively difficult to get in the first place. You can read more about it here Changed.
  7. r...4@gmail.com
  8. Is it $2 or $1 for a already existing johnny account? In the upgrade page of dashboard I see $1 but the link is for $2.
  9. Wolstech pointed out that the username dmcrac is a VPS, so the wiki I linked won't work for that. What email address would you like the VPS to have?

  11. This support request is being escalated to our root admins.
  12. Hello, I'd like to shift my personal heliohost account (Username : msbsurfi )to Tommy server for better experience. Since PayPal is not available in Bangladesh, I need a stripe link to pay. I also need to change the email address of another account (Username: dmcrac ) which currently is using my email address. Should I give the new email address here? Best Regards, MD Shifat Bin Siddique
  13. Thank you so much for updating my main domain and creating a backup beforehand—I really appreciate your help and care. I’ll follow the DNS instructions and wait for the changes to take effect. Your free hosting service makes a huge difference for students and developers like me.
  14. I've changed the main domain on your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect, and it will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Changing_Your_Main_Domain#Custom_Domains If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Since there is a risk of data loss when main domains are changed, I made a full account backup for you before I made the changes, in case you need any files from theold domain. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups
  15. Hello HelioHost Team, My username is almhdy24. I would greatly appreciate it if you could add my domain www.almhdy.sd and set it as the main domain for my Johnny account. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing free hosting service—it really makes a big difference for students and developers like me! Best regards, Almhdy
  16. Yesterday
  17. Looking at the time of your post, this specific error was likely because MariaDB was restarting. It usually happens once a day, around the time you posted. Users on the Johnny server seem to notice it more, so if it's too disruptive you could choose to move your account to Tommy or Morty. To read more about the error and the account move options available, please see our Wiki page: https://wiki.helionet.org/500_Database_Error
  18. You probably need to reissue the cert with the webmail option enabled. Once you do that, wait another 2 hours and it should work. In the meantime, you should be able to click advanced and continue anyway to ignore the error and access the webmail.
  19. Domain added. You will need to configure DNS (either by using our name servers ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org or by using A and AAAA records pointed to the IPs shown in Plesk). The domain can take up to 2 hours to function.
  20. Thank you again dear @wolstech. I have enabled webmail two hours ago. How long will it take before I can access webmail? I ask because I get at the moment an error message in my Chrome browser: "The server cannot verify that this is webmail.[domainname]. The server's security certificate originates from [domainname]. This could be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection." [update] In my Heliohost 'Websites & Domains' section, I see these error messages: Response not successful: Received status code 500 SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory [update2] Error messages in my Heliohost 'Websites & Domains' section are gone. But still an error message in my Chrome browser: "The server cannot verify that this is webmail.[domainname]. The server's security certificate originates from [domainname]. This could be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection."
  21. Hi, I need to map my hosting account v.satakopan@proton.me to map srimagalakshmicollege.com. Kindly let me know the steps.
  22. It shouldn't disable the setting for SSL/TLS for Mail (this one relates to IMAP/SMTP connections), not sure about the webmail one. I don't think it turns the webmail certificate off, but I would expect that certificate to not renew while the webmail is disabled.
  23. I see. Thank you for clarifying dear @wolstech. Does that also results in disabling the setting for 'SSL/TLS certificate for webmail' and 'SSL/TLS certificate for mail' ?
  24. Domain changed. It can take up to 2 hours to finish changing and start working. Please be sure to configure DNS if you have not done so already.
  25. Domain changed. It can take up to 2 hours to finish and start working.
  26. This was done intentionally due to poor performance on Johnny. When this happens, it happens to all accounts on a given server regardless of usage. We don't have a way of knowing which people are actually using it.
  27. Username: streetartlist I've already added dns records for both IPv4 and IPv6 and the domain that I'm using (a subdomain) correctly shows the "Welcome to your Account - Your domain should start working in..." page. It's been over 2 hours, so I figured I should ask if it's also necessary for you to add the new domain to the site's config on your end? Currently, it's using thestreetartlist.helioho.st. I just wanted to change that to use "archive.thestreetartlist.com".
