[Solved] Changing main domain for user "fthasdd"
KazVee replied to fthasdd's topic in Customer Service
I've changed the main domain on your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect, and it will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#Custom_Addon_Domains If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Since there is a risk of data loss when main domains are changed, I made a full account backup for you before I made the changes, in case you need any files from the old domain. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups - Today

No you should be fine. the 503 errors were from webmail being enabled on every account on the server.

I see, thanks for the info. Does that mean that if I use mail on one of my subdomains I can expect more 503 "terrors"?

[Solved] Pease reset my account joaoricardobo. wipe data
Unknown025 replied to joaoricardobo's topic in Customer Service
Your account has been reset, you should receive an email to recreate your account shortly. -
We can add domains for you. You can choose to either add a subdomain, a heliohost.us or helioho.st domain, or a domain you own through a registrar.

[Solved] Request for new addon domains to be added to my account
Unknown025 replied to chrisohps's topic in Customer Service
I've added both subdomains for you, they should take effect in about 20 minutes. To the best of my knowledge, it's not possible to change where files are loaded from for a domain in Plesk. -

That is fine. Once they are setup, where do I go in the interface to adjust where they point to or load files? Thanks -

I can add those subdomains as well, however unfortunately it's not possible for me to modify which directories they will correspond to. -

[Solved] Request for new addon domains to be added to my account
chrisohps replied to chrisohps's topic in Customer Service
Hi; Thanks for setting up these 2 domain names in such quick (I mean QUICK!) time... Much appreciated! To follow up, I am assuming it is the same process to add sub-domains... Looking to have the following: - taodgfu.cjburken.com -> pointing to TAODGFU folder under cjburken.com - app.23bill.com -> pointing to 'public' (not public_html) folder under 23bill.com Thanks in advance for the help on this. If you turn this back on, note that it takes two hours to take effect. You might also need to re-issue your SSL certificate to cover the webmail domain. Webmail was removed from all existing accounts to resolve the 503 errors as described above, and new accounts no longer include webmail by default. You have to turn it on if you want to use it. This change also improved performance and the speed of Apache restart on Tommy.

Webmail was disabled by default on Tommy due to the 503 errors. you can enable it again by going in Plesk > Dropdown under your domain > Mail > Mail settings. it will be under Webmail.

carlos77 started following [Solved] Mail server down
-
Hello, I didn't see any posts with a similar issue, but my mail server has been inaccessible for at least a couple of days. Whenever i try to open webmail.javalan.helioho.st I get a message saying the account should be open in 2 hours, although i have no issues with my account. But no way to see my mail. Has anything changed in how to access mail? I've cleared my browser cache and am in incognito almost all the time. Thanks for looking into this. Carlos

Subdomain added.

I've made that change for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for your new domain to fully work. If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Please note there is a risk of data loss when main domains are changed, so I made a full backup for you before I made the changes, in case you need any files from the old domain.
