  2. The hourly sending limit of the email address that tried to exceed the 10 per hour limit has been increased to 50 emails per hour. The default limit of 50 emails per day remains the same for now. If you try to send more than 50 emails per day email sending privileges will be removed. This is the default limit, and since you didn't really answer question 1 (or any of the questions really) I assume the default limit is fine, and it's only the hourly limit that you need raised.
  3. A second IPv4 would cost $2 per month. It looks like you're paying $5 per month now so that would bring the total to $7 per month. We would lose money if we sold IPv4 for less than we pay for them. If you click the follow button in the top right corner you will get email notifications when there are replies to this forum thread. You can also email support@heliohost.org if you want our replies to go to your email.
  4. Would you like to use Ubuntu 24? Ubuntu 20 went EOL back in May.

  6. Hello, I'm sending an invitation to a selected group of internal testers (approx. 15) and I get a SMTP error. After my search in the forum, I see this may be intentional, and even further I got a list of questions to answer in order for you to decide whether you can increase the current enforced limit (10). If my assumptions are wrong, please just tell me what else to do. Here you have the Q&A. 1) How many emails you plan to send per day? There are no plans at all. I don't do campaigns (will never do), spam (will never do), or send emails to people I've not been in contact before. Because of the intention of these, the number of recipients may vary from 1 to a limited group, most likely not more than 15-20, but if that happens we can revisit this dicussion, right? 2) Where you get the email addresses from? They are a selected group of people that work with me or have sent me their email address voluntarily for participating in the internal test program. Some are family, some are friends, some are friends of friends/family. 3) How can recipients of your emails unsubscribe? There is no subscription possible as this is not really a mail list. 4) Do you have an unsubscribe@yourdomain.com address set up? No, for same reason as (3). 5) Do you have an abuse@yourdomain.com address set up? No, for same reason as (3). 6) Does each email have a link to unsubscribe? No, for same reason as (3). 7) Do you share or sell email addresses that you get? No, not now or ever. Feel free to block my assets forever if that ever happens. 😎 Post an example of the messages being sent. This is quite confidential (and originally in a different language) but I'll write the essence of it: Hello everyone, First of all I would like to thank you in advance for your participation in this round of testing for the app XXXX I'm working on. XXXX. It's possible that you have already received an email about these tests, XXXX ... so here you have the address to access the app directly in the Play Store. It will only be visible if you open the account you have submitted for the tests. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=XXXXX If the link does not work then you should wait until the oficial email from Google Play. XXXX Thanks again for your collaboration. XXXX That again is an example. There is no mail list or defined purpose of any email I will be sending to these (or other) individuals, so I can't say it will be only this kind of emails I will be sending to them, or the email threads that I could be starting from these test rounds, so it could be 1 a day/week or 10 in an hour, it's hard to say. I don't mind having to explain my email activities to a certain degree if you notice something that should be reviewed, but I would need to be operational without having to use 20 minutes (like now) to request an extension or unblocking because I try to send a second email to 15 different people again the same hour (maybe I forgot a detail or attach a file). Thanks. /Javier (appmaker - appuris.com)

  8. Hello, can you please wipe and reinstall my VPS2 server? Sincerely, Karel
  9. Hello! We have some user-generated guidelines in our Wiki that you can find here about creating a MySQL (MariaDB) database, please give this a try and let us know if you get stuck: https://wiki.helionet.org/MySQL
  10. I've made all the changes for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain changes to take effect. If after a full 2 hours they don't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Since there is a risk of data loss when main domains are changed, we made a full account backup for you before the domain was initially added, in case you need any files from before things were switched around. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups
  11. There is no account named Serpic000, Ambot, or associated to the email addressed used on your forum account. Please post from a forum account associated to the same email address as on your HelioHost account, or provide the HelioHost account name so we can assist you further. Thanks!
  12. There is no account named Serpic000, Reps&Motions (we don't allow ampersands in account names anyway), or associated to the email addressed used on your forum account. Please post from a forum account associated to the same email address as on your HelioHost account, or provide the HelioHost account name so we can assist you further. Thanks!
  13. Hello, I had issues to just get the site to load. After several attempts it loaded, I logged in and started writting an email, but now I can't send it because there is an error about connection to the server failed. Thanks. /Javier (appmaker - appuris.com)
  14. this is for me to host online
  15. Hi @Unknown025, I would like to add also that I want that domain to manage the files in the httpdocs folder instead. the tenkyuu.dev domain would be the one to have its separate folder named to it. thanks!
  16. A VPS admin will reach out to you. Just as a heads up, I believe that additional IP addresses cost an additional $1 each.
  17. Domain added, it'll take effect in a little under an hour.
  18. Hi there! I would like to request adding this domain 'bochard.net' to my heliohost account 'b0chard', and also make it as the main. Thank youu!!

  20. Hello, i have currently created a databse offline on mysql that i want to make it online for other people to access/ edit. how do i go about this?
  21. I paid for a server with the expectation of using it as a custom name server for my domain. I believe an extra IP would do the trick. Please get back to me through my email, mzking900@gmail.com
  22. There's not much I can look at since you already deleted them. I guess if it happens again let us know without deleting them first.
  23. Let’s see what Krydos has to say.
  24. Domain added. it can take up to 2 hours to start working.
  25. Thank you dear Wolstech for your message. 1) The maximum seize of the total hosting account was not reached by far. Nevertheless I was happy with the postmaster e-mail because it indicated a synchronisation problem. But yes please, ask Krydos to look into it and determine why I received the postmaster e-mail anyway. 2) IMAP: the Mail client on my Apple device does synchronise all folders that are listed in webmail/Roundcube. As try-and-error, I changed the language settings of webmail/Roundcube from my native language to English-US. Roundcube now uses the same term "Junk" as well as the Mail client on my Apple device. Maybe this will do the trick. πŸ™‚
  26. The mailbox is not actually unlimited. The maximum size of a mailbox should be the same as the remaining free space on your hosting account (unless you manually cap the mailbox at a lower amount). The postmaster email used up a few KB at most, so just fit in there. If you have plenty of free space and you received this email anyway, let me know and I'll have Krydos look at it. As for the IMAP issue, odds are it's because your mail client is expecting the spam folder to be called something else, or is not configured to sync things other than inbox and sent. I've seen this happen before with the trash folder as well, for example some clients like older outlook would expect trash to be called "deleted items".
