If you're not using these, it would be best to delete the WP installs to ensure they don't get infected (or the entire domain if you're not using it at all). They are clean at the moment. Also, this is the second time now that I've had to spend more than half an hour cleaning up your WP issues. If one of the remaining Wordpress installs gets hacked on your account, we're going to require a full reset without a backup, as it's not reasonable for me to keep cleaning this for you due to the amount of time it takes. The more popular software gets, the more likely it is that it will become the target of hackers. WP is one of if not the most widely used CMS out there, so it makes a great target for cybercrime efforts. They can find one exploit and turn hundreds of thousands of websites into spam and phishing machines overnight...it's simply too big an opportunity for cybercriminals to ignore these days.

Wow. This is sad. Means even WP as a technology is gone/pointless in this AI era. Means i'd have to mentally and physically start to completely migrate away from WP since there are no ways to guarantee security. Will have to count lots losses in time and resources, purchased themes and templates etc. Means i'll have to revamp my portfolio projects since a substantial amount of them had WP projects. Please, kindly go ahead and discard the contents of that domain and check others again., though that will be the last active WP on this account so hopefully post this, means I won't be having any WP anymore on the account and the vulnerabilities should cease. The only active project will be my portfolio which itself is nodeJS based. Hereafter, I will also go ahead to change my account password as well just incase there's been some root access because it's shocking how one hack so easily affects the entire account ... hopefully there'd be no worm or hidden self-replicating malware left on the account after this. Current Domain: cirravostore.heliohost.us Requested Domain: cirravo.eu.org I am in the process of registering the domain with EU.org. During the registration process, their system requires the nameservers to be authoritative for the domain. However, since the domain has not yet been added to my HelioHost account, the nameservers return "Answer not authoritative." Could you please add the domain "cirravo.eu.org" to my hosting account (or create the DNS zone for it) so I can complete the EU.org registration? Yeah the ths one we left behind is now hacked too (it was clean when the last one happened). That WP install will need to go as well. Do you want me to discard the contents of that domain and check the others again? Wordpress gets hacked on other hosts too, it's not unique to us. I've personally had it happen to sites I manage for people on GoDaddy and 1&1. Securing WP simply isn't worth the effort anymore. Cybercriminals have bots that can and will break into thousands of WP installations within a few hours of a new vulnerability becoming available (and you can bet those are being found via AI now too), long before any patches are available. Then there's the cybercriminals who release free extensions and themes for WP that come with a backdoor included so they can hack anyone who uses them. If you take a look at your logs, I'll bet your other sites have tons of random IPs in their logs with failed requests for wp-login.php xmlrpc.php and similar WP-related files. Those are all bots trying to break into nonexistent WP installs...

Hi Goodday, i recently received an email that 'Yet again your Wordpress install has been hacked, and we've been forced to suspend your account.' . I have not even created anything new or done anything on my account since our last conversation. I believe you had cleaned out and closed most/all of my wordpress except the ths.helioho domain. I'm abit confused as to which wordpress was hacked again? I've also been told not to use wordpress at all and i'm surprised because I know most hosting sites manage wordpress fine plus my wordpress sites are not anything major. Can i know which site was hacked and what i can do since a reset will also affect my portfolio domain(ngo.helioho) which itself isn't even wordpress.I had thought we'd cleaned out all the malwarre.
