  2. We really appreciate all the donations over the years. Thanks for explaining. That makes us feel a lot better about the situation.
  3. Today
  4. That makes sense, I appreciate your help, maybe that was a system issue or something. I only did that as I wanted to change the OS and username, and didn't want to bother you guys for that, and I like to support helio host with any money I can as I know it's tough for you guys sometimes as a non proffit, so I figured I'd cancel the old one and purchase a new one. 5. No, the old VPS was definitely deleted, and the new VPS was created with the username hunterparker, not hunterp93. In the future if you want to change your VPS username, just let us know. You don't need to delete the old one and create a new one.
  6. So when I canceled the vps on the 6th it didn't actually delete it? I'm just crying to figure out how hunterp93 was still the username as I selected hunterparker when I ordered the new one. 7. I am changing your VPS username back to hunterparker. You'll receive an email in 10-30 minutes when it's ready.
  8. In order to save me a lot of time going through your massive list, can you please check the installed modules and reduce your list to only what isn't already installed? Thanks. https://morty2-info.heliohost.org/modules.pl
  9. The IP you're posting from is not blocked. What IP are you having issues with?
  10. I was mistakenly blocked. I tried to go to my site through a clean v4ip
  11. Not sure what's happening here, now I'm really confused, I had a vps that I canceled june 6th, I reordered a new vps yesterday as the reason I deleted the old one was I wanted to change my username to hunterparker, and I wanted a different OS so I could continue to learn the ssh commands, I have hunterp93 for the forums, not sure what account had hunterp93 for vps, I thought that would've been deleted when I canceled that one. 12. I've gone ahead and created this under your other account. Please check your PMs for information regarding your Lily account.
  13. i checked all of the accounts on the server using "cut -d: -f1 /etc/passwd" and the only one that wasn't a system account was hunterp93
  14. Wait, I'm confused. When I ordered my vps, I chose hunterparker for my username, I don't understand how this stuff works. 15. It failed because you changed the username from hunterparker to hunterp93. i've applied the new password to the hunterp93 account. Are you able to login now?
  16. Username: thebashingzone, Server: Tommy, Main domain: thebashingzone.ddns.net Trying to reset my password for my VPS server and when I completed the process it said something about that it couldn't automatically update the VPS password and it needed to be done by an admin or something, I was just curious if that's a system issue or if it's supposed to do that, any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. That domain is working for me and the SSL certificate is installed now. A test email also delivered successfully from my end. You probably didn't wait long enough for DNS to propagate or something. Can you give it another try?

  21. Installed. You can see the current list of installed modules for Johnny's Python 3.14 at https://johnny-info.heliohost.org/pyinfo/info3.14.py
  22. That particular subdomain cannot be added because it is reserved by the system (it's used by the Plesk built-in webmail if you enable it). If you're trying to set up webmail for email accounts you created in Plesk, there's an option to turn this on in the mail settings. Note that it takes 2 hours to start working, and you'll probably also want to install an SSL certificate for it. If you're trying to run your own webmail app instead, you'll need to pick a different subdomain.
  23. No problem. Escalating to have this taken care of for you.
  24. Your account has been reset. You'll receive an email shortly with a link to start over and create a new account.
  25. Yes, I'm okay with starting over. I do sincerely apologize with the commands I attempted to run; I really didn't know what I was doing, and will be sure to check all the commands I run in the future.
  26. It wasn’t suspended for excessive load, it was suspended for attempting to run commands as root. Attempting to run commands as root on the shared hosting is indeed considered a hacking attempt and typically results in a permanent ban without warning or refund. I’m willing to reset your account (which permanently deletes all of your data) and let you start over, however, you must never attempt to run that script here again, nor should you ever attempt to run shell commands as root. If you’re unable to kill processes on your own, you must contact support and request they be killed for you. A second violation will result in a permanent ban without warning or refund. Are you OK with starting over?

  28. Update: Looks like Krydos resolved the issue with adding the domain, I see it on your account now. 🙂 Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect, and it will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#Custom_Addon_Domains If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache
