[Solved] Add subdomains in my website
nottanmayyy replied to nottanmayyy's topic in Customer Service

Hello, Please help me add "nap.bunrieucua.com" as an alias for my "ygo.heliho.st" domain or as a separate domain for my account. Thanks!

I'm trying to install a Laravel application using the Laravel toolkit but each time I do I hit a bottleneck and it seems that the only way to delete a failed attempt is to reset the account. I have tried installing by connecting to github - this failed to find the app. I have tried pushing my files to the host but the hosting document root was set to /httpdocs and I couldn't see a way to change it to /httpdocs/public so this also failed. I then tried using the toolkit skeleton but it appears that this requires ssh access to push the files to the repo it creates which is, i believe, not allowed and hence I was just left with the skeleton app. I noticed though that using the Laravel skeleton at least set my document root was set to /httpdocs/public after trying to deploy the app. I have read the wiki and help files and the documentation on Plesk but they don't seem much help with regard to Laravel. Any pointers on how I should go about it would be gratefully apperciated. Douglas

I have backed up all the files from my domain locally, so please feel free to go ahead with resetting my account and making niraj-stha.com.np the main domain. Also I would like to request that the subdomains (api, admin, blog) be added as mentioned earlier. Thank you so much for your assistance and I appreciate your help in getting this all set up

You just need to set the name servers as you did, and ask us to add the domain to your account. As MoneyBroz asked above, what's your account username?

[Solved] Clarification Regarding Account Ownership
wolstech replied to neonstudio's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
We'd normally suggest that you simply request a second domain instead (you can have up to 10 at no cost), then build the site on the extra domain. You can just send the files and databases to the other person when the project is finished for them to set up. That said, since you already went this route, I'll allow it this time, but what you're describing does technically violate our TOS because you do own two accounts up until you give the second account to the other person. Alternately, in the future if you really want to have an entire account you can transfer to someone in a ready-to-go state, you could buy a Morty account for them. Morty accounts don't have a multiple account restriction, so you could buy a $5 Morty account and build their site in there, then when you're finished, just transfer it and let the balance run out, it will turn into a Tommy account at no cost to them. Unsuspended. -
Translation: Domain added. it can take up to 2 hours to start working.

[Solved] I want to add a domain to my account
Unknown025 replied to rck1753's topic in Customer Service
Domain added, it'll take effect in about an hour. You'll need to create an A/AAAA record to Johnny's IP address or switch to HelioHost's nameservers for the domain to work. -
Your account has been reset. You should receive an email shortly to recreate it.

Thanks. No. I have the free account and it works. You need to setup dropbox api to get the keys. plenty of guides around. One that comes to mind is how to setup rclone with dropbox. You would obviously use just the instructions how to setup the api and get the keys. if anyone needs help I can show how I did it.

Request free subdomain for my VPS
Unknown025 replied to Giulio Easyconsulting's topic in Customer Service
You actually already have vps10.heliohost.us, but if you want a specific .helioho.st or .heliohost.us domain added, we can do that as well. We stopped providing .heliohost.org domains a couple years ago, so those are only available to staff members and legacy users. -
Thank you!

[Solved] Update SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
wolstech replied to nelavoi's topic in Customer Service
DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain nelavoi.helioho.st. We recommend sending a real email (not just the word "test" or a blank email) to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be. -
[Solved] Please add and delete the following domain
MoneyBroz replied to ivatsa's topic in Customer Service
Domain removed and new domain added. it can take up to 2 hours for the new domain to start working. since removing a domain sometimes deletes the files associated with it, you can download a backup of your account before the removal at https://heliohost.org/backup You can find the A and AAAA record under the dropdown menu of your domain in Plesk. -
Your account is being reset. When the reset completes, you'll receive an email with a link to finish setting up a new account. After the process is complete, your old account's data will be available for download at https://heliohost.org/backup/ in case you need any of the content.
