1337 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Really stupid question... I think anyone would prefer an *always on, *high speed internet connection. QFT. Who would want a connection as slow as a turtle?
Quantum Media LLC Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 well, i have the equivelant of a t-1 but run 2 small servers for small client websites but, as al;ready asked, who wouldnt want a hs connection
Dragonfire Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 some people also prefer dialup because they only use internet for checking their mails so in that way dialup is better..

Well, if you think about it, with technology approaching new heights, everything is becomming more dependant on the internet. So i think that high speed would be in order, but that is my personal opinion
Dragonfire Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 hey, does anyone know a fast and cost-efficient broadband connection in the area where I live? I live in karachi, pakistan.
Eeor3 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I hate dial up but unfortunately, in my location there is no high speed internet unless I buy a sattelite dish - which is from what I can tell, no less than $600 for the equipment and that just isn't worth it.
AverageJoe Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 I have cable, it works great(for internet), but I like satellite T.V. better.
Mystical Water Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Well i would prefer using broadband as it gives a very high connection.
Maxdamantus Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I find cable more stable than when I had ADSL on my old ISP. Not to mention faster.
Kyougi Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 i want optical cable... A slow HDD and slow internet servers will slow you down, it's almost completely worthless for personal use.
arunsonnet Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 i prefer to use broadband. i switched over from dial up to broad band few weeks ago.
joemama718 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 what do you mean kyougi? optical cable is way faster than regular cable...no?
