Dragonfire
some people also prefer dialup because they only use internet for checking their mails so in that way dialup is better..

Well, if you think about it, with technology approaching new heights, everything is becomming more dependant on the internet. So i think that high speed would be in order, but that is my personal opinion
Dragonfire
hey, does anyone know a fast and cost-efficient broadband connection in the area where I live? I live in karachi, pakistan.
Eeor3
I hate dial up but unfortunately, in my location there is no high speed internet unless I buy a sattelite dish - which is from what I can tell, no less than $600 for the equipment and that just isn't worth it. arunsonnet
East or west broadband is the best
AverageJoe
I have cable, it works great(for internet), but I like satellite T.V. better.

Maxdamantus
I find cable more stable than when I had ADSL on my old ISP. Not to mention faster.
joemama718
i want optical cable...
Kyougi
i want optical cable... A slow HDD and slow internet servers will slow you down, it's almost completely worthless for personal use.
