I prefer dialup... I like to wait for long hours for web pages to get downloaded... plus I like to show-off my hugely inflated telephone bill... too bad, every ISP is now switching to broadband here... I miss the good old dialup days

I also prefer broadband now. They are at irresistable prices now. You can sit continuous online 24hours a day for 30 days instead of sitting max. 50 hours a month for the same price.

Right now I have cable and thats also quite fast. Whereas I still think broadband is better.

Post here now your favourite and most reasonable broadbands.

i wouldnt say broadband is at irrestible price not everywhere atleast. You can get a 2mb broadband for 15 pounds and 64k for the same price were i live.

I know it differs from place to place. Well, at least the broadband I am planning to get is cheap and fast.

By the way,my cable is also good. At least for now because not so many people are on. And I get all the data from the four broadband connections they have.

I guess you mean 20KB and not kb... 20KB is pretty good a speed for a 256 kbps connection... the top speed you should be able to achieve is around 30-32KB/s... though the speed also depends on server load, network congestion, etc.
