Dragonfire Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 Well, my friend told me that Kaaza had some problem. He told me that when he downloaded files using Kaaza his computer got messed up and then he had to format his hard disk and install an operating system again. For me Limewire pro will do. Even if it does have a few viruses, I have an antivirus software installed and have not faced any problems yet.
rieLoves7 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 yahoo is nicer(for me) but google has more urls. good luck on the anime video search though
Dragonfire Posted June 8, 2007 Author Posted June 8, 2007 Hey, I thought microsoft live's and msn's searches were the same but actually they're different. Windows Live's Template is also better and they have better search results. Thinking to use Window's live as my homepage now. This is the url : http://search.live.com
Dragonfire Posted June 10, 2007 Author Posted June 10, 2007 I just read an article about how powerful google's web search is. People use it to search for files in a webserver that are whose url is not given/shown (basically stuff the webmasters want to hide). For e.g if your website has three files index.html, hidden.html, shown.html and a link of shown.html is put on index.html. So basically a person can not find out that there is a file named hidden.html that exists. But google's websearch is so effective that it even shows hidden.html as a search result. Google's now taking measures to prevent its services being used for illegal purposes.
1337 Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Google is the best and most accurate results. Yahoo is OK. MSN /Live is not that good. Ask = Nice interface, but the results aren't up to par.
Dragonfire Posted June 19, 2007 Author Posted June 19, 2007 Actually if you really want to know, ask.com updates the results themselves checking out each website status, if it is trustworthy and accurate. It is to be used more like a question search engine than a keywords search engine as it is built that way. So if you want to surely open trusted and accurate websites then you should use ask.com(but only has a few as they update the list themselves).
kyle Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I use google. I recommend google. Nothing but google! Its the most known search engine, which means that they will supply you with more information and well, they have great features. Maps, images, news, GMAIL. And google adsense it awesome.
karath Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I prefer www.searchtheweb.com Nah joking Google still has it flaws, it now says that our school computers are infected with viruses and wont let us search
Asgard Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Google is pretty much it for me. It's the biggest of all the search engines, it can find many things and it's got special functions... [ignoring the 'answer to life, the universe and everything']
karath Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Google is becoming very quickly, a global force in business. It's a quite big company...
Marc. Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Some good Search Engines: www.google.com www.altavista.com www.dogpile.com www.ask.com
naynesh Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 google askjeeves loads type in on google search engines then you find some engines
MildlyHotPeppers Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Mininova.com is definitely one of the best torrenting sites. It's got a page dedicated to comments on every single torrent, which I'm not sure other sites have. I use it all the time.
