chak Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Dear Support Team, I am currently using VPS133 and have encountered an issue with the download speed from my VPS. When downloading a 3.6 GB compressed file from the VPS to my PC, the download speed is only around 62-130 KB/s, resulting in a very long transfer time. I usually perform these downloads at approximately 8:00 PM. Thailand Could you please investigate whether there are any bandwidth limitations, network issues, or server-side settings that may be affecting the download speed? I would appreciate any recommendations or assistance in improving the transfer speed. Thank you for your support. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Chakkrapong Edited 4 hours ago by chak Quote

MoneyBroz Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Krydos can investigate this further but i assume another VPS on the server is swapping as your VPS is having to read the file to upload it to your PC. Quote
chak Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago I try upload file 1.7GB from PC to vps via Webmin still normal with took time less than a minute. but downlaod case have issue. Quote
Krydos Posted 29 minutes ago Posted 29 minutes ago I tested the download speed of your VPS. sftp> ls -lh -rw-r--r-- ? 0 0 3.5G Jul 24 17:21 largefile.bin sftp> get largefile.bin Fetching /root/tmp/largefile.bin to largefile.bin largefile.bin 100% 3600MB 58.1MB/s 01:01 sftp> It downloaded a 3.6 GB file in 1 minute and 1 second at about 58.1 MB/s. It seems like the VPS is fine and your internet connection is probably the bottleneck. Quote
