Hello guys!

Last Friday, you kindly allowed remote access to my PostgreSQL database: https://helionet.org/index/topic/67874-solved-remote-acces-to-postgress-db/

However, today when I attempted to access my database, I received a message indicating that I cant connect.

Could you please help me understand what is happening? I am using an IDE to access the database, so there are no changes or errors in my credentials on my end.

Thank you for your assistance!

Remote database access doesn't follow you when the account moves servers. Escalating to have this turned on again.

I assume same database info as the linked topic?

Oh, okay, thanks!

Yes, the same information applies. However, the user for the connection is the one that ends in “_2,” as mentioned in the responses to the post.

This has actually been updated and remote PostgreSQL access does get transferred to the new server now.

Most likely you didn't read the second email that says the new IP address that you have been moved to, and you're still trying to connect to the old IP. You need to use this IP now:

host=65.19.154.93
port=5432
user=victord1_mund_dev_user_2
dbname=victord1_mund_dev
password=<set in Plesk>
