HelioHost Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Username: yilanpekerr, Server: Johnny, Main domain: yilanpekerr.helioho.stHello, I am writing because I am extremely frustrated with the ongoing 502 Bad Gateway (nginx) issue on my website. This problem keeps happening again and again. Each time I contact support, it gets fixed temporarily, but after a short time the same error comes back. I am honestly tired of repeating the same process. Because of this issue, my customers are constantly contacting me, asking why the site is down. This is damaging my business and my reputation, and it is not acceptable anymore. Please investigate this issue properly and permanently, not just a temporary fix. I need to know: Why this error keeps happening What the root cause is What will be done to prevent it from happening again I expect a clear explanation and a permanent solution as soon as possible. Thank you. Username yilanpekerr

Krydos Posted February 11 Posted February 11 First of all, you're on the Johnny server which is considered an experimental server. We don't recommend running a business on the free plan, because like you said yourself, your customers are always going to contact you asking about downtime, and frustrate you. We recommend using the free Johnny server to experiment with your website to get it working where you are the only visitor with only test accounts. Once your website is working well, and you're ready to release your business to actual customers we recommend upgrading to the Morty server. Second, the license we use on the Johnny server is a non-profit license, and the terms of the license specifically say that commercial websites cannot be hosted on it. The Morty server is running on a commercial license so it's acceptable to run businesses on it. When we find that people are running businesses on the Johnny or Tommy server we are sometimes forced to suspend them. It's possible we may have to suspend your website if you really are running a commercial business on the free Johnny plan.
