The issue is that you installed the Xfce desktop environment which runs very poorly on a VPS especially with only 1GB of ram. We recommend just using ssh to manage your server instead. A rebuild may be necessary if it keeps locking up.

It turns out that your VPS is still having performance issues and a rebuild is now mandatory. Let us know what files you would like to backup and when you would like to start the rebuild.

Yep login username and password is the same as you set before when you first purchased the VPS. Once the VPS is rebuilt you can upgrade it in the VPS account dashboard.

You have root access to your VPS so you can open or close all 65535 ports yourself.

We recommend not using VNC (as we already explained) because installing a desktop uses a lot of memory. Most desktops recommend 8 GB of memory for best performance. The recommended way to access your VPS is via SSH. This will result in the best performance, and a much smaller memory footprint. If you refuse to take our advice and install a desktop anyways, here's the command you could run to open port 5901

sudo ufw allow 5901/tcp
