If you want to switch to aaPanel we would need to do a full rebuild of your VPS since it already has Hestia on it. Since a rebuild deletes all files and settings we recommend taking a full backup of anything you need prior to the reset. Since you're asking about a new control panel and a second IP address you could just purchase a second VPS which comes with its own dedicated IP address, and we could install aaPanel on the new VPS rather than wiping the existing VPS111.

I'd have to find the email but in the beginning, I was told I'd have a
second IP addr. It's not a huge deal, but that seems ...
in any case, what would it be for a second IP?

i'm not sure i need it and i forget why i was asking TBH.

I believe it was an automated clearinghouse agreement payment (ACH).
that is, auto-draft as it's also known.
