piyushukani Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Hello, I am running a python script and it needs a IP whitelisted by certain applications. Currently it is showing me this type of errors with different IP addresses when I run it at different time: ERROR - API error 401: {"error":{"code":"ip_not_whitelisted_for_api_key","context":{"client_ip":"2001:470:1:1ee::1002"}},"success":false}. Therefore, I need a dedicated and static IP address for my heliohost account. Username: piyushukani Please approve my request to get me a dedicated and static IP address so that I can continue working ony task using heliohost hosting. I am ready to pay the defined charges for this once my request is approved. Thanks in advance. Quote

Krydos Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Which application can't whitelist 2001:470:1:1ee::1002? Quote
piyushukani Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Delta Exchange India platform can't whitelist 2001:470:1:1ee::1002 and 65.19.154.90 (Which are currently assigned to my heliohost tommy account). However, it's their default setting that user have to manually add the IP addresses in the whitelist section in their account. But the problem is on heliohost the IP addresses assigned to me currently are dynamic, due to this I need to keep watching all the time if I get the IP whitelist error. Therefore, if I get the static dedicated IP addresses I should not observe and adding up all the time the new new IP addresses. If I have dedicated static IP addresses then it will resolve my problem forever. Edited 2 hours ago by piyushukani Quote
Krydos Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The IPs 65.19.154.90 and 2001:470:1:1ee::1002 are not dynamic. The only way they will change is if you get moved to another server. Quote
piyushukani Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Let me check and confirm if it is showing me an error mentioning any IP addresses other than these two. If so we have to look into it which are those IP addresses. I have requested to install python's "twilio" module on my account since my updated python codes need this module. Once it is installed I will do a test run and will update you if it is encountered any error about the IP addresses. Till then please keep this request ticket open.
