HelioHost Posted August 5, 2025 Posted August 5, 2025 Username: N/A, Server: N/A, Main Domain: N/AHello - I was just wondering if your Postgres instances work with .NET using EF Core. I know that some Postgres database providers do not work with EF Core, so I thought I would check. Thanks.
Krydos Posted August 5, 2025 Posted August 5, 2025 Where are you planning on running the .NET website?
HelioHost Posted August 6, 2025 Author Posted August 6, 2025 On a Linux server in a Docker container. Krydos Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Is the Linux server one of our VPS? https://heliohost.org/vps/ If so you can just install PostgreSQL on the VPS as well.
HelioHost Posted August 6, 2025 Author Posted August 6, 2025 I don't want to install and host my own Postgres database. I was wondering if your managed Postgres database supported EF Core. No worries though. I will give it a try and see. Thanks. Krydos Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Ahh, ok. I've never tried it myself, but I googled it a bit and it seems like it should work.
