HelioHost Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Username: astron, Server: Johnny, Main domain: astron.heliohost.orgI don't know exactly when, but at least yesterday and today, no php sites or anything that requires php will open. Only showing up this message: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator at root@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe I haven't noticed anything, but I can't find anything written about it right now either. Thanks! astron.heliohost.org
Krydos Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 I took a look at your logs and I do see quite a few 500 errors on PHP files around 2025-07-15 23:58:00 or so. I took a look at the system logs around that same time and it looks like mod_fcgi was timing out which was causing the 500 errors. The most likely cause of timeouts is high load so I checked Johnny's load around that time, and it wasn't actually too bad. I see you're using PHP 8.2. You could try switching versions. Perhaps try PHP 8.4? Let us know if it happens again.
HelioHost Posted July 16, 2025 Author Posted July 16, 2025 Okay, I'm trying PHP 8.4, but I didn't create any particular load there. I've been using the same scripts for several years, and they only update some URL links. And there's nothing else there, each script only runs once. And on the first try, none of them would start, and then I didn't try anymore, I thought the server was undergoing maintenance. On Wed, 16.
