HelioHost Posted May 28, 2025 Posted May 28, 2025 Username: emmanuelfosso206, Server: Johnny, Main domain: larea.helioho.stHello HelioHost Support, I recently deployed a Laravel application on my account, but I?m encountering a "500 Internal Server Error" when trying to access the site. I?ve checked the error logs, and I noticed several issues, including: - mod_fcgid: can't apply process slot for /var/www/cgi-bin/cgi_wrapper/cgi_wrapper - ModSecurity: Output filter: Response body too large - upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) I believe the issue might be related to FCGI resource limits or ModSecurity restrictions on the server. Could you please let me know if there?s a way to increase the FCGI limits or disable ModSecurity for my domain, at least temporarily, so I can troubleshoot the application? ( Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Krydos Posted May 28, 2025 Posted May 28, 2025 The "can't apply process slot" error is related to this news post. https://helionet.org/index/topic/64390-503-errors-update/ We have fixed the issue on the Morty and Tommy server already, and everything seems to be running well again. Johnny will be the next server to be fixed, and the work will likely take a week or so to complete since it is a very slow process to convert all the accounts. If you don't want to wait for the fix to be applied to the Johnny server you can upgrade at https://heliohost.org/dashboard/move/ Once the fix has been applied to your server, or you move to a server that is already fixed, we can address the mod security issue, or any other issues you may be having. We'll make a news post when the Johnny fix has been completed if you want to just wait on the free option.
