devashraf Posted Wednesday at 08:32 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:32 PM Hello, I restored my account, and everything works fine. However, FTP has a problem. It logs in successfully, but once I click the folder to access it, it fails for a "permission error" (Directory /devashraf: permission denied). I checked the settings, and set the password again, checked the setting being correct as per this page. I use FileZilla. Just to confirm, the problem happened after restoring the account. Quote
wolstech Posted Wednesday at 09:16 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:16 PM This has happened before. Krydos can fix it. Quote

Krydos Posted Thursday at 05:45 PM Posted Thursday at 05:45 PM What do you see when you go to http://portquiz.net:1373/ ? Quote
devashraf Posted Friday at 02:25 PM Author Posted Friday at 02:25 PM (edited) portquiz.net refused the connection - ERR_CONENCTION_REFUSED. The same in home and at work. Edited Friday at 02:27 PM by devashraf Quote
Krydos Posted Friday at 03:03 PM Posted Friday at 03:03 PM That means your home and work internet connection or firewall is blocking outbound connections on port 1373. I just tested http://portquiz.net:1373/ myself and it was really slow to load so maybe their server is having issues so it may take a few tries but if you have outbound port 1373 enabled you should eventually see this Quote

Please also note that this server uses some port for real services (22, 25), so testing with your browser on those ports will not work. Rate limiting 05/06/2020 : I had to set up Rate limiting on new connections by IP, otherwise the charge was too high for the small portquiz VM. Sorry for that.
