[Solved] Need to change Morty to VPS

ActualIy, I was looking to purchase VPS plans but chose Morty instead thinking it was a VPS plan and it seems like it's the same one. Could you please help me get a VPS and cancel my Morty account? All the data can also be deleted.

Which VPS plan did you mean to purchase, and what OS do you want? Do you want a control panel installed (VPSes come as an empty linux box with SSH access by default)?

Krydos can exchange your Morty plan balance for a VPS for you. There may be additional questions he'll need answers to that I missed (you're the first to ask to exchange a Morty account for a VPS).

It looks like you paid $10, so it would convert to 2 months of $5 Mars VPS pretty easily. There's no discount for prepaying a VPS unless you purchase 6 months at a time though, so exchanging a Morty plan for a VPS will result in loss of the $2 bonus you got on the Morty plan.

Also, do you want the Morty account moved back to Tommy since it was moved from there, or do you want it deleted entirely?

Sure. What OS do you want on the VPS? Is Ubuntu 24 fine?

Also, is plain SSH access fine, or do you want a control panel like Hestia installed on it for you?

I transferred your $10 Morty payment to a Mars VPS, so you'll get an email on 2025-03-27 asking you if you'd like to set up a subscription to keep the VPS active. You should have just received an email with the IPv4, IPv6, and other information in it.

I moved your Morty account back to Tommy, and you should get an email in a bit when it's done.

Since you want to keep both your VPS and your Tommy account they have to have unique usernames, so your VPS username is spforsomvps, and your Tommy username is spforsom. Since they both use the same email address if you try to login at https://heliohost.org with your email address it will default to the Tommy account. If you want to login to the VPS use the username spforsomvps instead of your email address.

Let us know if you'd like to have a free control panel installed on your VPS. As it is now it's just a blank OS with nothing preinstalled, not even Apache or Nginx, or MySQL, etc.
