DmC Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Hey there, I'm getting failure messages from Plesk. For some reason the automatic let's encrypt renewal tries to renew a certificate for underscore dot domain (_.domain.name) which results in error: Details: Type: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:rejectedIdentifier Status: 400 Detail: Invalid identifiers requested : Quote
wolstech Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 It's probably a leftover from the wildcard domain (some parts of the system, especially the Plesk API and non-Plesk components of the system, treat the * as a _ ). If you manually reissue the certificate, it should stop trying to renew this in the future. 1 Quote
DmC Posted November 28, 2024 Author Posted November 28, 2024 I deleted the certificate entirely and reissued a new one. Let's see Quote
KazVee Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Marking this thread as [Solved] as per the forum report. By the way, the report post feature is more for spam or flagging issues that need immediate attention (for example if someone else posted their password/personal data by accident). To ask us to mark a request as solved next time, please just pop a new post in the thread to let us know. 🙂 We also have a help page here in case you encounter SSL issues in the future: https://wiki.helionet.org/common-errors/ssl-certificate Quote
